I love my new fireplace/tv stand. It heats up the room nicely. The extra crackling gizmo I bought to make the sounds of a fire is not worth the money. The trucking company who delivered my purchase was TERRIBLE and did not show up with my purchase the first 2 times they said they were coming. It was a little more difficult to put together than we thought, but it is lovely and very classy looking.
Love my crackle sound ads so much to my electric insert !Sound very real and adds warmth n charm to my living room!!
Excellent little heater that is definitely worth the price. Extremely easy to operate.
Don't let the tiny size fool you. I have it on top of my real flame fireplace and I use jellyfish which has no crackle. You can hear it on low over 20 feet away. Batteries last a long time.
Fireplace arrived as advertised, no damage or broken or missing parts. Easy installation, however I do find instructions far too vague. More detail needs to be made in illustration and direction. I'm extremely handy so I didn't have any problem figuring it out. I could see a person less handy having difficulty. All in all. Very nice product.
The sound is clear and adds a realistic sound to my electric fireplace.
I think it was a bit over priced for size and volume. Three volumes but medium and high are undestiguable Loud is not very loud although sounds are very authentic. In a smaller room would be ok but I wanted for outside gas fireplace
The build quality is extremely thrifty. This product should be priced in the novelty range somewhere near 4.99$ retail and that is not the sale price. Very small speaker but sound is fair unless you increase the volume. Then you are just listening to garbage. Not even burning garbage, just garbage. No choice for a power adapter so you will need to build that. Very cheeky quality. Do not expect to last a week. Can not recommend due to price. This product probably cost about 60 cents to produce and that's net not gross. Well, the build quality is gross. On the bright side, it arrived with demonstration batteries and is working. Could have been quacking like a duck. If you must have it, just use your imagination and don't expect digital Dolby surround sound. Like I said, meh.
Requires a Torx screwdriver.
Unfortunately this was a disappointment in operation and sound. The unnecessary childproof battery cover would not come off, even when using a variety of micro-screwdrivers. After about a half-hour of trying various tools, I just broke it open and installed the batteries, leaving them exposed. The sound was unreal, childlike as if in a toy (which may explain the battery cover issue). I purchased two so I'll be sending the second one back.
