This is a great little fan and it was very easy to set up. I have an odd sized window, but this fan fit into it, with just a little help from my screwdriver. A couple of things bothered me, though - first, apparently it was supposed to include two removable covers, but only included one removable fabric cover. There was no bug screen included. That's not a big deal, to me, but might be important to somebody else. There were no batteries included, for the remote. I just happened to have the required two AAA batteries, but someone else might not be prepared. If you want to utilize the remote, you will need the batteries. Lastly, the instructions print is so small, it's difficult to read. Why do they make instructions difficult to read? A normal size font would be nice. Anyway, aside from the few minor drawbacks, I really like this fan! The app was easy to find and download, then the pairing was also easy. I was able to use the remote right away and it's very simple, not overwhelming. The functions are straightforward - cool, exhaust, circulate and speeds (low, medium, high). Nothing difficult, here. Power on and it's on, choose your function and speed....easy peasy and it's not noisy. Of course, it's a FAN and does make a sound, but it's not loud. If you have a tv on or music playing, you don't hear the fan. I am very happy with this fan, it suits my needs perfectly.
Comfort Zone 9" Smart Reversible Twin Window Fan with WiFi %26 Remote Control Nice dual window fan by comfort zone. i got this for my attic (aka my craft room), which gets hot and muggy in the summer. i got this to circulate the air. it is very powerful and is easy to install. it comes with a remote and an app to control settings.
SHIPPING: * Fast shipping and original box packed inside an outer box with extra padding (air bags). Fan arrived in perfect condition. BUILD QUALITY: Very good! Very solid and has a nice weighty feel. I've had the less exepensive no frills version of the Comfort Zone dual-9 inch window fan for 5 years and it's still going strong. I expect to get at least that many years from this upgraded version. APP: * After reading the reviews on the PlayStore for the Comfort Zone app, I didn't even try it. * I did install the Living Comfort app, but didn't try it out because it requires an account and it's really not necessary since the fan comes with remote that works well. REMOTE CONTROL: * Decent quality with real buttons instead of those horrible membrane remotes that crack and stop working after very little use. FUNCTIONALITY; * A recessed hand hold on the rear of the unit makes moving it in and out of the window very easy. (See photo) * Cord length is plenty good at a little over 5 feet. (see photo) * I really, really, really like the three air flow options! - Air in, exhaust, and a circulation mode that does air in and out at the same time. (The less expensive model (about half the price of this one) that I've had for years requires flipping the fan around in the window. Reversible motors are more expensive.) * The included screen and cover are much easier to get on and off than the older cheaper model that I've had for 5 years. Yay! * The accordion extensions are also much easier and much higher quality than the one that I already had. - There are a set of clips on each side that lock the position of the extensions when pushed in and allow for easy adjustment when lifted up. *** However, I removed the bottom clip on one side after realizing that I could not lift the fan up high enough in my low clearance window (about 13.5 inches) to release the clip and accordion and get the fan out of the window. NOISE: * At 3 feet a decibel meter reads between 65-70dB. - Not very quiet, but I don't have any fans that actuallly move air that are quiet. ** If you want something that moves air, you're gonna have to adjust to the noise. If you want something quiet, I assure you that it will not move air. *** It is less noisy than my window unit AC for sure. *** Even on fan only that unit with a squirrel cage fan is loud! DO I RECOMMEND: !*— I highly recommend!—*! Based on the quality and longevity (about 5 years and still going strong) of the older, less expensive, and only one-way fans of the model that I already have, I would expect this fan to provide many years of excellent wind production. ****** BTW, you will need to add some foam weather seal to the top edge to make a good seal and keep out unwanted critters. (See photo of gap)
This is a very nice window fan. Its reversible so you can blow in fresh air or blow out hot or stale air. It comes with a remote control. You can also control it with your phone over wifi. Its quiet enough to use in a bedroom and produces a nice breeze to cool a room quickly. It fits easily into the window frame. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a window fan.
I recently had to move from my home. I already knew how good this brand was, because I had the older version of this fan in my kitchen window. Sadly, I forgot it was still in the kitchen window...huge bummer for me. Why I love hit fan. I lost my AC two years ago in Iowa. I purchased a huge Wind Machine, a cheapo box fan and this style by Comfort Zone (older with the older buttons). I had no air flow in my 1930's home and it was a hot box during summer when temps could reach 100 inside. I placed this fan in the kitchen and would run one side exhaust and one intake to create a vortex. My other fan was a used one from a thrift store, but it was a POWER horse. The only issue with these fans being in the window is during a rain storm or high wind storm. I always removed them so it wouldn't damage the wiring or blades. Okay, so I restore Antiques as part of my Antique Selling Business of 18 years. This fan came in handy so many time to circulate air and exhaust fumes. If you paint, stain or whatever using chemicals for cleaning this is the perfect fan. This newer version has better buttons than the older one I lost. It can be set using buttons on the fan or by remote. I think the blades are slightly smaller than my older one, but it still seemed to maintain the power with 3 settings as the other one and this one has almost no noise or vibration on the window. I LOVE IT! I would recommend this for a kitchen window or a room that has poor air flow during hot days. If you run a shop or need an exhaust fan that can be stored this is perfect. I will use this for long time. I had my older used version since 2020 and it was still fully functional until I forgot it at my old house along with my brains lol ha ha. Oh, plus when I would cook I would use this to exhaust in the kitchen to keep the heat down. This little fan is as good as any large Wind Machine and not as loud!
I’ve tried a bunch of window fans and most just kind of… circulate warm air. This one actually makes a difference. The dual fans are strong, and being able to reverse the airflow is huge—pulling cool air in at night and pushing hot air out during the day really works. The WiFi and remote are nice to have (I didn’t think I’d care, but I do). Once it’s in the window, not having to mess with it is a win. Setup was easy and it feels pretty secure, not flimsy. It’s not silent, but it’s more of a steady background noise. On low it’s totally fine for sleeping, and on high you’re getting solid airflow so I expect some noise.
This so much better than flipping around the cheap ones all the time!! This circulate feature is awesome, it's very well made, and wow is it powerful!! Absolutely love the bug filter and dust cover too!
I specifically got this for a room used for litter boxes we had tried everything and nothing was helping this little thing has changed that I can put it on circulation and one fan pulls in while the other pulls out wonderful fan highly recommend
I have been wanting one of these for a very long time. now I have one. it runs nice and quiet. which is a plus. also it has a remote control. which is good for at night time. cools the bedroom off quickly. I wish they came in other colors.
I got this mainly for the reversible feature. I like how it can suck air out or help blow it inside. The set up pretty easy but it didn't fit the one window I got it for; however, I had no problems with it in another room. It's fairly quiet on low but once you pick up the speed it can get noisy. Still, it's better to have a noisy fan with fresh air than a hot, stale room. I love the remote control.
