Quiet. Smaller than 20 year old fan.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical at first due to how light weight this fan is but was very pleasantly surprised at the amount of air it moves. The three speeds allow you to adjust air flow rather easily and the motor is quieter than other fans I've owned. Very nice fan for portable applications.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this fan for my bedroom. My last one was old and was very loud. This one is quieter, and blows better then the others I have tried. It's lightweight and easy to move around. I will be getting a couple more for other rooms
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this to cool my office which has multiple PC towers and other gadgets that are running at 100% all the time and generating heat. This beast blows the majority of the heat out of the room and lowers the temperature of my office by 2-3 degrees on average which is huge. I also play virtual reality in the room so it keeps me cool while playing which can get heated with tennis, boxing and other heated virtual reality sports. Great great fan. It's not too loud and you can feel the power when it turns on, it almost suctions right when you power it on, love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to beat a good old box fan, needed a smaller fan to put in garage to help move air, this fan does that. Easy to place in corner, doesn't take up a bunch of space and moves air like I wanted. Can't go wrong!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is very nice and has been a great replacement from our old box fan. The first thing my husband and I noticed was how quiet it was, even on the strongest setting. We've been using it on the first speed lately to get some air flow in our home and it has been working great. I love how powerful it is and that we can just stick it right in our window. It is also very lightweight (but sturdy), easy to move around and the cord is nice and long which is convenient. This fan will be great for the summer and should help with our cooling costs. We are very happy with this fan and would highly recommend it to anyone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always had box fans in my house. Before it was because we were too broke for AC, but now, I've gotten used to the white noise and I like having one. It really does help the AC not work so hard and it is great for the rare days it's really cool so I can have the AC off and put this in the window.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good fan which puts out a nice amount of air to cool the garage down. Works just as expected and doesn't take much electricity to run at all. Definitely isn't too over engineered which is a great positive.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This box fan is in line with other box fans that I have used in the past. One interesting feature that I have not seen on a fan before was the built in fuse that was in the molded plug end. Kinda of like you see on Christmas cords, but I have never seen that on a fan before. I suppose that a fuse is only a good thing as it provides some safety. I got it out of the box and like normal did not read the instructions and almost threw out the two stabilizing foot pieces as I thought is was part of the shipping packaging. It is clearly in the instructions that these need assembled to the fan however. I like the gray color but this fan is not build super heavy duty. The this outer steel framework was damaged slightly during this shipping process, but luckily for me it was on the bottom side of the fan and will never be noticed as it is not visible. If the frame were damaged somewhere else I would definitely request a new fan as it would be all I would be able to see anytime I used the fan. The fan does push a good amount of air however and that is its main purpose.
This worked for a total of a week last summer. Tried to fix it, worked for a few hours. Had already tossed the box so couldn't return.
