Comfort Zone Portable Air Conditioner, 8,000/5,000 BTU, WiFi Enabled with Remote Control and Programmable Timer

The Comfort Zone Portable Air Conditioner will be a great addition for my home office. My office tends to stay much warmer than the rest of the house during hot weather, even with the main AC running, so I ordered this to help keep the room comfortable while I work from home. Although it has not been hot enough yet for full-time use, I can already tell it is going to make a huge difference this summer. Setup was straightforward, and I really like that it includes WiFi capability, a remote control, and a programmable timer, which makes it convenient to adjust without constantly getting up. My first impressions are that the unit cools smaller rooms quickly and runs quieter than many similar portable AC units. One downside is that the exhaust hose is only about 5 feet long. Because of the layout of my office, I will either need to rearrange some furniture or purchase a longer hose to comfortably reach the window. I also noticed the unit can take up a decent amount of floor space and that the window kit may require small adjustments depending on the type of window you have. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase so far and look forward to staying much cooler and more comfortable in my office during the summer months.

This is for a small room , like a 25x25 ft max. The controls are really cool and that's a plus. You can set it to certain temperature for certain times of the day. It programs your air conditioner with a touch of a button. The air is very cold air.

Works as expected! The window insert that holds the hose had to be cut to fit the window, but that was easy to do. So no issues with that. It blows cold air like it should. Hoping it holds up to the hot Colorado heat, but we will see. I'd recommend this to anyone in an apartment, because it's mobile and easy to move and reinstall if needed!

I wanted a portable ac that would be less intrusive than the ugh bulky ones and less hassle than the window ones. This is a nice slim design and easy moves to whatever room I want it in. I wanted a quieter ac that didn't take up my floor space too much and didn't take up my window. This does both. Slim design and packs a great cooling punch. It cooked my room in no time and without a lot of noise too. It was exactly what I was looking for!

This unit is very impressive. I have a small bedroom that doesn't cool well with our central unit and this portable unit does the trick. It cools our room off nicely and fairly quickly. It is easy to use and connects by WiFi and has a remote control for changing the settings. It was easy to set up. It isn't super quiet but it isn't real noisy either. You can still sleep well with it running. This is the first time using a portable air conditioner and I'm really impressed with its capabilities. It came packaged nicely without damage, which I appreciate.

The Noise Level is low and it is able to get air circulating and cooling off a room within a couple of minutes this air-conditioning. The only issue during installation was the hose. It's a bit tricky at first to get the ends to screw in but once you figure it outs it's pretty simple. The fan works well, it's fairly quiet, the cool function is adequate in a small room unless you just sit in front of it. The Wi-Fi works.

Arrived in a box that you just lift off in order to unpack. Has wheels so easy to move into the area you need it. Not too heavy either at just under 40 pounds. Has recessed handles on the sides of the air conditioner. Comes with the hose and vent pieces for the window. Has a nice remote too. Easy directions for hookup. Now the bedroom will be cool on the hot nights.

Got this in exchange for my honest opinion and review, and I have to say that I was impressed at first. Air conditioner came well protected and arrived early. It is very sleek looking and the remote is large and easy to understand. The entire unit itself looks very nice and functions just fine when powered on . Now cons %231 the plastic expanding bracket for inside the window is Useless! It's way too narrow to allow the hose exhaust part as you can see in my pictures to allow there to be No Gap between the sill and the hose exhaust. There's a Huge 3 inch gap between the sill and the expanding bracket that would allow something as big as a bird through the hole ! %23 2 The plastic exhaust nosle that attaches the hose to the expanding bracket needs to be longer and flatter around the bottom of the expanding window bracket allow the hose itself to rest over the window sill. I lived all over the world now and I have yet to see a window sill where this included bracket would work. So would I recommend this portable air conditioning unit, Absolutely Not! This could only be used now with a piece of plywood cut to raise the expanding window bracket above the window sill to allow it to be vented and used. I'm not saying that this is difficult,but At this price point this should Not be the case , The expanding window bracket should have been made higher to eliminate the need to modify it to be used ,and speaking for everyone,I don't believe that anyone would want to have a piece of plywood jammed into there window to use this . If I would have bought this ,it would be getting returned to the store right now and exchanged for a unit that didn't have to be modified in order to function as listed in the ad on the website. Definitely Do Not Recommend this unless you plan on purchasing plywood and cutting a wood and extra foam to use it.
