I have a broken heel, ankle and fibula. Trying to place ice all around was not working. I searched and found this. It is just what I needed. When first putting it on I struggled with reaching and adjusting the straps due to pain but once it is on I love it. The velcro holds great!! I wish it could be softer on the inside for comfort. Not sure if it would be as cold though. Definitely would buy again.
This and all the other wraps that this particular company sells are just amazing! They are durable, flexible, get super cold and stay cold for hours! I broke a knee, an ankle, herniated 2 disc in my neck, one in my lower back, tore my hip labrum, and tore my shoulder socket and these have been a life saver! I just recently broke my big toe and was able to mold the different styles to fit around the top of my foot for relief! I use these every single day.
Very good for large feet and ankles. I wear women's size 11 or mens size 9.5. Bands are very long. The wrap is already pleated to fit like a boot, no frustration to wrap it. Once on, you can restrap to tighten easily if you get your feet up on the bed. Your ankle is still free to move so you can flex your foot while icing. Very comfortable. When folded these fit in my freezer drawer small drawer leaving room for other stuff.flexible. When cold I wear a thin sock to keep my leg from being too cold. Wish I had thought to look for these sooner. These larger booties are worth the price immediately. They are foot and ankle shaped so they are not suitable for multipurpose unless you just don't unfold them at all.
I bought this hoping to avoid a trip to the hospital. I've had a stroke and have weakness on my right side. I fell heading to the bathroom and badly twisted my foot and ankle. The swelling was immediate, the deep bruising was not. I ordered this when trying to use bags of ice didn't reach where I needed. This covers the whole foot and ankle. Much relief!!! I highly recommend this for any foot/ankle pain.
If your a big person with short arms like me, it's a little hard to get on so my husband helps. BUT IT WORKS!!!. I have plantar fasciitis and have to ice my foot. I hate icing foot. I hate being cold. So prime time that I use it is as I get in bed that way I can pull the covers up warm and snug and fall asleep. When I wake up 75% of the pain is GONE!!!
I had ankle surgery in June with hardware. Nothing has helped the pain and swelling until I used this item. I am buying another one tonight to switch them out, and could actually wear them 24/7. Amazing product. Thank you
i had Achilles tendon repair surgery on 3-31. this ive pack has been a miracl for me. i bought 2 of tglhem one to use and one to freeze. i alternate them. they are great
It works well. Just place it in the freezer, let it freeze, and place it on your foot and let the cold therapy do its thing. Helps for aches and pains.
I bought 1 for each foot because of edema. i was hoping they'd be a softer more flexible material. They work as indicated. They are super cold unless you wear thick socks if you want to leave them on long enough to effect swelling. Same for my shoulder rotator cuff injury.
The ice pack is rather bulky but not so heavy that the weight hurts my foot I'm using it after foot surgery and it does a great job cooling from different sides of the foot and it lasts a good long while. Not pretty, but functional
