I have looked at a few different black filament, and this one seems to match old plastic parts around the repairs that I'm making very closely. some lots have more blue to the black and it doesn't match the older work as well. I fabricated a sliding mount and some stops for a tripod rig, and it's holding up very well.
Great filament. Haven't had a single issue with it. I have found that I need to run it at 220C instead of the 210C that's printed on the spool. I love the fact that the spools are sturdy cardboard and can be recycled instead of plastic that cannot. I wish all filament manufacturers would do this. I was a little disappointed in the vacuum sealing on the first of three rolls. The bag was a little loose around the spool, which means all the air had not been removed. But the other two out of this order where nice and tight. Pic was just a quick print to see how the filament does. 6mm nozzle used. I wouldn't hesitate to order again and will. My review is from my own personal experience and I have NOT been compensated for it. I didn't receive this filament for free from Walmart or the manufacturer in exchange for a review.
The color is great for the items we wanted to make!
prints very nicely
I actually love the filament itself, seems to have no problems printing. The issue is with the colors, I got orange (even says orange on the box) instead of yellow which was a big problem for me and the red is more like a darker orange. The rest of the colors (white, black, grey, and blue) were awesome. Really like the blue, it's a soft Carolina blue. It doesn't come in a resealable bag like most but didn't really expect that. All in all, worth the money...just don't expect the right colors.
Colors are poor quality. attached is a picture of anycubic filament white versus the comtech
The filament itself seems fine, the finish is ok, other than having slightly weaker adhesion to the layers able and below a layer. The problem I ran into was at the end of every width of the roll, the filament was trapped under the next lay on the spool. So it gets stuck and on more than one print so far it has caused a print to fail, hence the lower value for money rating. I have to be nearby to keep an eye on it literally the entire print or loosen an enormous amount of it. I have a print running right now, and it was so tight it actually broke the filament.
While I ordered the product for the convenience of being a bundle pack I was sure to read what was included ie the colors specifically I ordered other colors separately to not have doubles or extra I purchased these knowing they came with black white gray red blue and yellow I ordered green and orange aswell as pink and various others but now I have no yellow and 20 percent of my designs need yellow now I'm at a stand still every thing else as in packaging and being sealed all checks out perfect just this big problem no yellow even though it states it will have yellow
Stay far away from this filament! It is incredibly low quality and severely damaged my Bambu Lab A1 Mini. My printer is brand new with only 21 hours of use, and this defective plastic completely clogged the machine and broke the nozzle. I've attached photos of the damage as proof. I have already contacted them demanding a refund and full compensation to fix my machine. Do not risk your printer on this cheap material. I will never buy from them again.
I have already gone through two spools, and the quality has been terrible. Now, on the third spool, my printer can barely run because the filament snaps almost every time the spool rotates. The filament is so brittle that it keeps breaking during printing, making it unusable. Unfortunately, the return window is extremely short, so I am no longer able to return these products. I have spent about $70 on these spools, plus countless hours trying to troubleshoot, adjust settings, and make them work, but the issue is clearly with the filament itself. I am very disappointed with the quality and would appreciate a resolution to this issue.
