Great sunscreen
I am very happy with this sunscreen. It worked well. I haven't shopped for it yet to look at price but if it is comparable to our normal sunscreen in price, I will buy it again. we typically prefer the spray sunscreen for our kids but on vacations where it's really hot, I feel like a lotion is more reliable for longevity. Super cool

I thought it was a little thin and that I would actually end up burning. It was worth the risk to find out it worked superbly. Will buy again.

Good for my type of skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was always looking for a good skin screen as I have a sensitive skin and got hands on this one and it worked great for my skin I had no sensitivity great product I must say. And I would definitely recommend this to people who think the sunscreen gives irritation.

Good Alternative to Oxybenzone for Mild Sun Days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family is outside a lot and we always put on sunscreen year round. We have sunscreen in every bag and every vehicle. With so much sunscreen use I have concerns about using sunscreen with Oxybenzone so frequently, especially for my young children. I have found that using sunscreen with only Zinc Oxide was not great for us during the hotter Texas months, possibly due to sweating? So I was excited to try this out. This sunscreen gets a better rating than regular sunscreens from EWG so that a big plus. I felt that it worked better than using Zinc Oxide alone, but still have not found a total equal to the protection we get from Oxybenzone sunscreens. I'm not sure if this is attributable to user application, or intensity of the Texas summer sun, or what. Using this all day at the beach with plenty of reapplying, we got a little pink. So I think I will stick with Oxybenzone for extreme sun beach days and use this as more of a daily sunscreen to keep us protected. At first I thought the blue changing bottle was a joke because it turned blue in the shade and I thought it was triggered more by heat than harmful UV rays. But when it turned white after being in the super hot car under a towel, that made me realize the blue was working and I've been really underestimating the amount of UV reflection we are getting even in the shade! So I think it's a great feature to bring more awareness!

Not only mineral based as claims
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was interested in trying Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen as it is an active mineral-based sunscreen per the packaging. Once I received the sunscreen, there is a small types stamp stating "combining mineral and chemical UV protectors" on the box. It is clearly added as an afterthought, as it is not part of the actual packaging. I was very disappointed, as I only use mineral sunblock for health and safety reasons, and while I appreciate that Blue Lizard does not include oxydenzone or octinoxate, it still includes octocrylene. Because of this chemical inclusion, I will not use this product as I try to avoid chemical sunscreens which absorb the harmful UV days. As I can not use this product since it is not a pure mineral sunblock as the packaging indicates, I am unable to provide a review of the products efficacy. I would not recommend Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen as their packaging is misleading and they do not offer a pure mineral sunblock.
