Not thrilled
I had the original dohm classic for ten years and when it started to die I bought this new one but it's not the same quality as my first. The plastic makes a gritty scraping noise when we try to move the vents around that's very off-putting but my old one was smooth and quiet. It's almost like there is sand in between the two layers. Makes me not want to use it. Kinda bummed. Also hope someday they can make one with a removable cord to make travel easier. The case is nice however. Hope that means TSA won't think it's a bomb every time I fly now.

Unique mechanical sound for babies—and parents
Friends recommended getting a white noise machine to help our newborn baby sleep. I love that the Dohm Classic generates sound mechanically—if feels more comfortable for me to use with the baby vs a digital looping sound! And it soothes not just the baby but the parents too, lol!

Better and More Sleep
I wanted to stop using my phone for white noise and rely on a mechanical item for the sound, and this is perfect. Just enough adjustability to achieve the perfect level and tone of sound to keep me asleep deeper and longer.

Love it! - but not what I expected
We ended up really loving it, but it does have a machine-y sound at first to me. And it doesn't get as loud as I expected - good adjustment down to make it quieter, but it doesn't get super loud.

Love it!!
Love it! We got a new window AC in our bedroom and it's too quiet. I couldn't sleep after the replacement, until I got this sleep machine. Now it goes everywhere I sleep

Great sound machines!
This is our 3rd sound machine. We have had the other two for over 2.5 years and they are great! We needed one for another bedroom and/or travel. I really like the ability to get the white noise without the hassle of pushing air with a big fan. These sound machines do exactly that! Thank you!

Great disappointment
I have been buying and using Dohm fan-based white-noise machines for decades. I recently ordered 2 Dohm Classic White machines with Travel Case. Both machines had a terrible odor that several days of operation did not cure. I will never order another Dohm machine. (The company did provide a full refund.)

This is always the best
This is always the best sleep machine. I have bought at least 3 one for me my sister and daughter.
