We built a custom tile walk-in shower and used the nickel hook because we didn't want to drill holes in the tile. One year later this hook still holds the weight of a large, often wet, towel. This is not high gloss tile, but I bet it would work with that too.

I have used three of these hooks to hang potholders over the cooktop on a tile backsplash. The hold is amazing. No matter how much grease and steam they hold tight. They have also been bumped and hit with a number of pots and pans and didn't even wiggle.

My son was constantly loosing his house keys. When he started driving we had to figure out how to help him remember where his keys were. Well we hung this hook beside his bedroom light switch & he has not lost his keys once since! The best money I have ever spent! Now I use command all over the house for towels, hairdryer, posters, pictures, even put one on the dishwasher door so when I leave in the morning for work I can let everyone know if the dishes are clean or dirty!

I have a small walk in closet that I share with my husband so I have to maximize that space as much as possible. I love the medium size brushed nickel hooks because I can put them on the side of the cabinet inside my closet and I have my purses hanging on them vertically - it is a space that would otherwise have gone unused if it were not for the hooks - they are wonderful little tools for organizing and the fact that they match the rest of the hardware and door accents throughout my bedroom is an added touch!

I used my first command hook for our keys, instead of drilling holes in the wall for a key hook. My BF has lots of keys and they hold up. I have bought several since then, organizing everything. I hang my purse on one just below the bar, a fly swatter hangs by the garbage can, and even my son told me he needed some hooks for projects and his backpack.

These hooks are beautiful, so they can be put anywhere and enhance the decor of the room instead of detracting from it. They are quite solid and obviously well-made. Unfortunately, I have found that the adhesive cannot hold up to high humidity. I live in an older house with only one shower, currently, so everyone must use it, and additionally, there is no ventilation in the bathroom. So, apparently, the humidity is too high for the adhesive to stay attached. I have used these hooks elesewhere with just as much weight with no problem at all, so I have to assume that moisture is the problem.
