I received a blue Cotton Candy machine and it arrived with no issues. The Pan is separate from the base and protected very well by styrofoam. The base unit is also well protected from shipping damage. This machine leans toward commercial quality and should hold up for regular usage. The pan attaches to the base with a couple of clips, easy to take on and off for storage and cleaning. The front panel has a voltmeter, temperature control dial and a power switch. I was hoping that the temperature control would turn on separate from the main power, but this is all on, meaning the motor spind during warm up. Temperature setting is a guess, the first time using it, I had the temperature too low, causing a lot of the sugar to not floss out. I would go with maximum temperature the first time and come down if too warm. There is a small screwdriver included to remove the heating plate for cleaning. You basically just use water and a soft rag to wipe it clean after use. The included instructions provide detailed information. A long measuring spoon is also included to safely pour in the sugar. It did make great cotton candy and I can see how much fun this will bring at parties and other social events. I think it is a great value for the price.
