Commercial Urethane Grip Plates - 2.5lb Pair

I had gotten 10 lb grip plates from 4 different companies (brands) These are by far the best. 1- Finish quality, much better than other brands 2 - Urethane as opposed to rubber, tougher, and no smell 3- Width, these are the narrowest of them all, allowing more plates on the bar. 4-Interlocking, these do actually interlock, the other 3 I got did not. (and interlocking them allows even more plates on the bar 5 - Painted numbers, these were the only ones that had the numbers actually painted. (If I understand the process correctly they actually are not painted but the urethane that is poured into the number castings is white colored urethane, way better than just paint) 6-Walmart Price, really very good. I ended up ordering a whole additional 245lb set of these once I could see and compare the quality.

I had gotten 4 different grip plates from 4 different brands to compare quality, I sent 3 back and kept this brand, I then bought a 265lb set of this brand, and then bought these additional 5 pounders. No question this are the best grip plates out there, and for whatever reason, Walmart currently has the best prices. The finish on these are much nicer, Urethane instead of rubber, much more durable. they are slightly thinner and actually interlock, reducing the amount of space needed on the bar. The lettering is actually better than painted on, they are actually white urethane poured into the lettering of the mold for the plates, making the lettering actually part of the plate not something painted on.
