Community® Coffee Between Roast Ground Coffee 16 oz Firm Pack

Being from the Deep South, I've been around Community Coffee all my life (and that's quite a few decades!), although I didn't really drink it like my parents and grandparents did, until I tried the Between Roast many years ago. Well, over the last 20 years, I strayed 😉 and tried many, many other coffee brands (including almost every flavored coffee out there with the advent of Gloria Jean's coffee shops), but never found one that truly “hit the spot”, and, honestly, kind of forgot about Community. About 5 years ago, I finally admitted to myself that my coffee didn't really taste like coffee. It smelled like coffee when it was brewing, but that's where it stopped. I began to wonder if my taste was changing and if I was well on my way to no longer enjoying coffee…not something I wanted to give up. Coffee is more than just a wake-up beverage for me; it's a tradition… a nostalgic remembrance of being in my French grandmother's kitchen and watching her pour strong black coffee into her tiny demitasse cups, morning and afternoon, offering it to everyone in the house, with sugar and a pitcher of thick, farm fresh cream, alongside almond scented butter cookies warm from the oven… it's the aroma of love and hospitality. I really didn't want to give that up, but I was increasingly pouring half of my mug of coffee down the drain because it was no longer flavorful /enjoyable. My coffee was weak and lifeless no matter what I did, often bitter after my futile efforts to improve the flavor. In 2023, I moved north to the Midwest, and began my search anew for a delicious, flavorful, full bodied, smooth coffee. Again, after buying an armful or two of different brands over the past couple years, I came up empty and disappointed again. Then, I ran across an ad for Community, and inspiration lit up! However, inspiration was short lived… just try finding Community Coffee in stores in the Midwest… you'll feel like you're on the losing end of a rigged scavenger hunt! Finally, one morning last summer while sitting on the deck with a mug of my yuck coffee, I turned to Google and searched for the best medium roast coffee… and (eureka!!) Community Coffee popped up! I'm embarrassed to say that it had never dawned on me to buy Community online… A few clicks later, and I had bags of coffee and boxes of tea headed my way. A few days later, with my Between Roast in hand, I held my breath and brewed some coffee. Oh boy!!! The aroma!! Joy returned with that first sip! It was absolutely the BEST cup of coffee I'd had in 15+ years. Wonderful aroma, full of flavor and absolutely smooth as silk. I wanted to drink the whole pot! I've brewed it in my Keurig using reusable mesh pods and in a percolator, both yielding delicious results. It's incredible to be able to look forward to truly enjoying my coffee again. I'm now set up with auto-ship and couldn't be happier! An added bonus is the very reasonable price. Thank you Community for bringing a simple pleasure back into my life!

CC Between Roast is my favorite! Full bodied coffee and not bitter. Second best is Hotel Blend, but both are sometimes hard to find in the grocery store. I am a fan (over 50 years) and have yet to find another coffee like Community.

It is such a pleasure having community coffee delivered right to my door. No hastles, great prices as it is nice knowing community takes care of my coffee wants/needs. Thanks again for all the products you provide!!

We have been looking for a coffee brand that was not so acidic but still tasted good and we think we have found it! Very happy with the Between Roast coffee from Community Coffee.

I did not know what to expect with the between roast. I have never heard of it. This coffee is quite tasty. The aroma is wonderful. I really enjoy drinking it.

I have tried about 6 or 7 different grounds of Community coffee, and I cannot decide which one is my favorite!! All are full of good coffee flavour, never bitter, between roasts is a bit stronger than breakfast blend or hotel blend but everyone I try is as good as the last one!! So I've decided to continue ordering different blends and just enjoy them all! There is a tiny taste difference in some but I love them all and I consider myself somewhat of a coffee expert as far as tasting goes.

I've been exploring different blends & roasts of different brands this year. CommunityCoffee is the best brand period. The Between Roast is, so far, the best roast. Currently trying the Breakfast Blend but a bit more acid. What a taste journey this has been, but have narrowed down to Community Coffee, Between Roast which I prefer this as the grind is not as fine as the Breakfast. I had to really search your website to find the Between. Dors this go under a different title? Thx

This is the first time Ive tried that and it just might be my new favorite! I would love to see it in kcups Soni can take it to work with me!

We always loved the between roast. Its the perfect blend. Just wish they would offer it in bigger bags or in a whole bean version

Between Roast has always been my go-to coffee, since USL in the late 60s and continuing 60+ years later.
