Very stretchy, smells good, and colorful. Shaking for 15 mins, two times is a lot but the results were worth it. The kids loved mixing the slime and seeing the results. It's nice to get two different slime types. One is a pre-made butter and the other is a powder mixture.
This shake it up diy slime was very fun for all my four children it was enough. Each one got to create the slime which comes in four different powder colors . You pick one add about a tablespoon of water and then shake within the container. Once you don't hear any liquid you have created your slime. At first it came out super sticky but as you roll it it becomes slime. My kids loved creating it and playing with it. It was very stimulating and good amount of slime for each kid. The other container was foam slime with glitter. The foam slime was cotton candy scented and already made. For this one you were able to add glitter and mix into your slime . My daughter's loved this one as well plus they said they preferred this one since it was not sticky at all. Totally recommend as a fun activity for them and they learn how the process of making slime worked !
Hours of fun. I highly recommend this WeCool Toys COMPOUND KINGS Shake it Up DIY Slime Cotton Candy Scented Pre-Made Butter Included Sensory Overload - Multi Color. Perfect for sensory development. The scent really makes this slime even more fun to play with. My children absolutely love to play with these slimes. Highly recommend.
We got the Shake it Up DIY Slime one pink one for our 14 year old daughter and one teal for our 11 year old son. Dad was in charge of helping but thought they could do it on their own. My daughter's turned out great, feels cool like a thicker slime, and smells yummy like cotton candy. My son got frustrated and threw his away because it didn't turn out. So parental assistance for the younger kids is recommended. The kits include two packets of butter that changes in color and one packet of gold glitter. You will need a 45ML measuring device and a timer. How to make: 1. Pour one bag of the slime butter into the bucket it comes with. 2. Add 45ML of water into the bucket (going to make an assumption that dad didn't help 11 year old with measuring water properly). 3. Close the lid and shake for 15 minutes. 4. Add your glitters. 5. Repeat (again assuming the shaking for 15 minutes). Just like all slime it may stick or stain fabric, wood, carpet, and other surfaces so be careful where the kids play with it. Wash hands I would say before and after playing with it so you can keep it longer. I would recommend this to anyone with kids the kids did have fun with it.
Overall this slime kit was very easy to make! My daughter loves it, at first it was tacky but once you played/stretched it out, it was good. The directions were easy to follow and everything was included. Just add the water with the powder and shake! I love that the slime can be stored within the container when she is not playing with it, therefore that reduces the mess around the house. This is a fun activity for a kid to make slime on their own with adult supervision!
I was rather disappointed with half of this product package. The pre-made butter slime is pretty, but its texture does leave a slightly moist residue on your hands, so if you or your child is texture-sensitive be aware of this fact. Also, sadly the scent is more chemical than cotton candy. I added the glitter to both packs of the pre-made butter slime, and it looks pretty, but most of the glitter is dulled by the slime coating. The glitter was easy to incorporate and the butter slime is easy to work and stretch. My disappointment is with the "Make Your Own Slime" package. First of all, the directions for this container appear confusingly to be posted on the pre-made slime container. The directions don't clearly indicate that you are supposed to add 45mL of water to only one packet; however I assumed that was the case as each packet is a different color. The next instruction is to shake the product for 15 minutes. I used the bucket for the mixing and shaking, and the lid is not at all watertight. Colored, gooey liquid flew out in drops and pooled on the top. I did not have any lidded containers that I felt comfortable putting this stuff in, so i just continued to use the original container and went through a lot of paper towels during the process. As the liquid congealed more, less of the goo popped out, but it was still a challenge to effectively shake the container in such a way that something didn't leak out. My suggestion to the company would first be to put clear directions on the actual container. Second, make the container clear to let you watch the action happen, so that you're not just staring at a blue box for 15 whole minutes. Finally, make a tight fitting screw-top lid to keep all contents inside where they belong. After approximately 15 minutes of shaking, out emerged a small blue blob that is not stretchy and smelled of chemicals. In working the product in my hands, it stuck to my fingers and left an uncomfortable amount of residue behind. My kids had no desire to play with it, and I was disappointed it took 15 minutes to make such a small amount and that it was so un-workable. I tried to make another batch, but when the lid dislodged and slime flew out (see picture) I felt I'd had enough fun for the evening and threw the rest away. A very long, messy process for little result.
DIY Slime what little girl doesn't want to make some slime? It's a cute set up that comes with two different slime kits basically that you make yourself, hints DIY. The boxes are stable and easy to open and close. The instructions are located on the box. Time for some slime making or so I thought. This is all fun and games until I made the decision to let my daughter do this herself. I figured the instructions were simple enough. You add some water, glitter, powder, mystery gem, and shake in the little box. Well just know that these little boxes don't seal completely and the next thing I knew all the stuff was on the kitchen table due to leaking out of it. This does make you shake it a long time to make the slime. However for a child this isn't very fun after about the first 5 minutes of that said 15 minutes. Now once the slime actually gets made it does dry out rather quickly even after being in the boxes. Yet again this I'm sure due to them not sealing very well and holding tight.
The slime kit is a cute concept. I did like that it had multiple packs that were different colors. I didn't find the packs extremely scented. I didnt find the scent very appealing. I do wish the packets were larger. Instead of having four packets maybe 2 larger packets. My neice with autism found it very satisfying. I found it to be a great tool to help her with her sensory needs.
This slime kit has mixed reviews from my daughter and I. The good things first. First off the kit has many different “slime” mixes so you can make a few batches. Second it includes free buttercream scented floam which was super cool and smelled yummy. It was already ready to play with on arrival. Third the containers store all the pieces or slimes well. Now the issues, my daughter has a hard time making the slime. It has not come out to the desired consistency. Next it tells you to shake for 15 minutes. This was very hard for my daughter, and this seemed excessive. Lastly the slime mixes were small. So overall she likes the buttercream floam but as far as the slime goes, it falls short. She likes to mix it but gets disappointed when it’s too watery!
Wow. What a horrible product. After following the directions to its completion, I was left with a bowl of a awful smelling goop. This is not slime in any sense; it's reminiscent of a small toddler's sticky snot…the kind that's impossible to get off your fingers. What a disappointment. 0 stars.
