Con-Tact Brand Shelf & Storage Non-Adhesive Surface Cover Shelf and Drawer Liner, Clear, 18"x20'

This product was recommended in a video on how to protect paperback book covers. I have many old, well read and well loved paperbacks with crumbling covers that are no longer available, even as used. This non-adhesive contact film worked wonderfully and since it isn't "adhesive", it didn't cause further damage during the covering process. It does adhere to the cover so you can only make minor adjustments (i.e. for small wrinkles) after you start.

This clear Con-Tac is so versatile I don't know where to start! Here are some of my uses for the product. Shelf liner; document preservation; wall protection (especially next to a pet feeding tray to protect against water and food splatters); protect something from fading, among other things. It's easily installed and easily removable with no damage on certain surfaces. I've used various Con-Tac patterns for years and highly recommend this product.

I had recently bought other Contact brands products before and had been very happy with the results. So this product was also easy to use and to install. Excellent quality and look. Also, the adhesion is exceptional. I have used the other brands and was disappointed or not impressed. I am glad I gave them a try. With my large kitchen project, I used this product to line the wire shelving that stores pots and pans. The product is waterproof and easy to clean.

I work in an infant program and this contact paper holds everything on the walls and on shelves with no issue.

It works well with patterns for scroll saw work. Adhere the pattern to the contact paper then stick to your wood. When done the pattern comes off easily.

great for craft projects! Used it to make tissue paper rain drops and the kids loved it!

it is not the easiest thing in the world to apply, but once it is on, it works.

I can't really recommend it because the backing paper is a little too thin. It splinters pretty easily when you're trying to separate it from the adhesive liner and then you have to try and separate each splinter from the adhesive liner.
