This is great for many uses. I use it to cover cat houses during bad weather. Plus multitude of other uses like sealing up old screen door, replacing cap flaps on there doors, covering old windows when winter approaches. Only drawback is it will turn white if left in any standing water. Wish it was available in wider sizes and thicker options. Truly recommend this product. It is the best acrylic clear vinyl on market. Much better than tarps.
This plastic is for my windows in the winter. It is thick enough to where you do not feel any draft through it. It fits very well and secure. It's so see through that it just looks like a second window. And when you take it down off the window it is reusable compared to this thin plastic window coverings.
I am homebound and could not get to the store myself to see these in person, and it's not like you can open the package in the store and unfold to compare the weight and thickness anyhow, and I couldn't find the gauge in the description or reviews so I really hesitated between this and the premium, yellow one (which, BTW, Walmart very recently, within the last month, raised the price on by $3 but Amazon has maintained their price). But a week or two ago I remember reading that the Deluxe is 12 gauge, so I bought it. I'll have to iron or get a hair dryer to get the creases out but I'm happy the cheaper option worked out for my needs—though I think Walmart very recently raised the price by a dollar too. Anyhow, I embroider and I was going to make clear vinyl protectors for my color sample books, of which I own four (DMC Eco Vita, Lecien Cosmo, Lecien Cosmo Seasons, Fujix Soie Et). I think this weight would work great for pouches and small to medium-sized tote bags too—premium would work better for very large tote bags.
Perfect for what I needed it for. I used it to cover patio chairs, they came out great! Thick enough to do the job. 9 ft long, so covers a lot. I have used Walmarts vinyl in the past to cover a wood dining table. This would also be perfect for that.
The vinyl covering was actually a better choice than what I initially was looking for. Since I could compare the two, I decided on the covering. It was delivered faster than I expected.
I'm using it to cover my floor so that I can work on other parts of the floor. It's good quality and thickness.
Perfect for protecting new stone dining table from messy diners.
very clear, sturdy vinyl - I used it to make patio furniture covers. Needed 6 yards so I purchased 2 packages. Top quality. BUT keep in mind that if you are using it for a pattern or something other than draping it 2, 3 yard packages are NOT the same as 6 continuous yards because not all the pieces will be able to fit like they would on a continuous piece. That was my only difficulty - in the past you could buy yards continuously so now you are limited to 3 at a time. Still a really good product
It smells so bad. I put it outside for a week and it still has a smell. I thought it had a backing to keep it from slipping. It does not. It slides right off the furniture.
Very thin.. It should be sold for $2 not $10
