This 2-inch iron makes my long, curly, thick hair behave faster than any other iron I've used. Love it.
I love that this flat iron has such a wide range of heat settings - 5 options, ranging from 300° to 455°. It heats up to your desired temperature very quickly as well. Previously I was using a 1" Chi, and I really appreciated the larger size of the plates on this flat iron, it really cut down on the time required to do my entire head. My hair is smooth and shiny, and stays frizz-free. The only thing that I didn't love was the cord length - at just 6 ft long, it's roughly half of the length of the cord on my Chi flat iron. I didn't realize how much I appreciated the extra length until I was tethered a bit closer to the outlet. All in all, this is an excellent tourmaline ceramic flat iron for this price point.
Conair has been known for its quality and affordability. This hair iron is amazing and was quick to straighten my frizzy, wavy hair. It only took a like 3 swipes to straighten a strand of my hair. Cheaper irons would require more than 6 swipes but not this one. I love it.
I received this flat iron from BzzAgent for my honest review. This flat iron heats up quickly and the digital temperature is easy to operate and see. Made my hair straight with a couple of passes, rather than just one. On occasion, depending on the size of hair piece I pulled, it would do it in one pass. It didn't pull my hair much, just a couple of times. I like the fact that it has an automatic shutoff if you accidentally leave it on.
I was gifted this item to try and to give my honest opinion. First off, I love this flat iron! The flat iron heats up relatively quick. It's nice that it's so wide. I'm able to get more of my hair done at a time. It's not too heavy and feel nice in your hands. I tried it on my curly hair and my mother's wavy hair and it was amazing and easy to use. Great item at the price point.
I haven't used a straightener in about 10 years. This has exceeded all my expectations I am so happy with it! I remember how hard it was to straighten my hair before and this was a breeze. It heats up sooo fast! The price is amazing for the product. I did get this free for the review but that doesn't affect what I think about it! I'm recommending it to everyone!
I was a little wary of using this straightener because I have a high end brand that I already use, so I didn't think this would get the job done. My hair is wavy and frizzes easily. I live in Tennessee where the humidity is high, so I normally can't wear my hair down and straight, especially in the summer. I've tried a lot of products and a lot of straighteners. I thought my high end straightener was doing a fairly good job in the not as humid months, but then I tried this one! My hair was straight, smooth, and silky and it stayed like that for days! I was my hair every 3 days and I barely had to use the straightener again on day 2 and 3. It is also super fast. I can do my whole head in less than 2 minutes. The 2 pictures are after washing and drying with a round brush and then after using the straightener. My hair was already pretty straight after the drying, but you can still see the bushiness/frizzy and it would only increase throughout the day. As you can see, the straightener does it's job and keeps my hair like that all day long! Thanks for the free sample and letting me try the Conair InfinitPRO flat iron! I will be making the switch to this full time!
This is a decent product, but I think conair has better straighteners that I've used! I think if you have thin hair that's not very wavy or curly this would work better. I have thick and wavy hair and found I had to go over my hair multiple times to try to get it as straight as possible even thought this product does go up high I think to around 460 degrees. I received this product for free to test and review with my honest opinion.
My first attempt at this, I decided to go with the low setting. It did take more than one pass, and I do have thick, but fine hair. It got hot very quickly and I really liked the digital setting that showed where the temperature was at. That's a cool feature that some of the more expensive products I own don't have. I later tried it on the hot setting, but when I use this, I feel like the low setting is just as efficient and better for my hair, so I'll continue to use the lower setting for future use. My hair is color-treated, so I am cautious about using heating products too frequently. Please, please make sure to use a pretreatment conditioner on your hair (in general) when using any type of heat like this to save it. :) I thought this was a fantastic product for the price point it's set at, the only thing I wish it had was a locking mechanism when not in use for packing, and some type of resting pad to set it on while it's cooling back down on the counter because this gets HOT! That's the reason for the star deduction. I did receive this item for free in exchange for my feedback.
When I was sent this product, I couldn't wait to try it out! The first thought I had was, oh this seems a little flimsy. The plastic handles don't have any weight to them. The plates don't come all the way together either, unless you squeeze pretty hard. In using the product I was impressed with how quickly it heated up! It was ready to go not long after I'd turned it on. I was able to get the desired look quickly and effectively and without any static cling left over. If you need something to feel Bougie, it may not be what you're looking for, but it is a product that works and does what it promises.
