I wanted a larger barrel curling iron for softer, looser curls, and I immediately went right back to the Conair brand that I've used and loved for over 30 years. I already own this curling iron in a smaller barrel size, so when I saw this larger version at such a budget-friendly price compared to some of the other Conair models and competing brands, it was honestly a no-brainer for me. It heats up quickly, is easy to use, and gives me exactly the kind of curls and volume I was looking for without making my hair feel damaged or overly dry. The larger 1.5-inch barrel is perfect for relaxed waves and everyday styling. I've always had good luck with Conair products lasting a long time, and this one feels just as dependable and well made as the others I've owned over the years. Great quality, great price, and exactly what I needed.

I like that the cord on the curling iron is not excessively long. My other curling irons had long cords that would catch on drawer knobs while I was using them. Ugh😣

I like the size of the barrell and the heat control on it. I like being able to adjust the heat . Plus it keeps me from burning my ends with the heat control .The only thing I don't like is I'm afraid of burning my neck with the bigger barrell . But that's on me….

This is the absolute best Conair curling iron I have ever used. I dropped and broke my last curling iron and tried to find one with a cool tip. This Conair has a Cool Tip and a new heat selector. You touch the lengthwise indicator and it lets you select the heat you want to use. The clamp for the barrel is much tighter than my previous Conair and holds my thin hair to perfection. I have lost an alarming amount of hair due to covid and stress. My prior Conair could not hold the hair and the barrel kept slipping off my hair and it was very difficult to try and curl. I am very very pleased with this new Conair and very happy I broke the other Conair in order to find this one. No one will be displeased with this Conair Cool Tip Curling Iron.

I recently had my hair cut shoulder length and bc of the curly waves, it was too short, so im letting it grow back out and needed a larger curling iron. This one is perfect and Conair makes great products.

So far so good. I've used the curling iron about 6 times and it heats up fast and hot enough for my needs. The curl holds over time. Works well. Can't talk to the durability over time just yet

This would be a 4 star if it would sit properly to keep the iron off of my vanity. I also feel, based on experience w curling irons, that it doesn't get as hot as it says it is.

It's ok the heating system super slow. It's not balanced need to be careful as it could damage hair growth.

⚠️ Gets very hot even at lowest temp setting. I have fine, fragile hair %26 I thought it would get fried. May be better for thicker or course hair. Disappointed. Threw out box, so can't return.

I plugged it in one time and now it doesn't turn on
