Conair Girlbomb Rechargeable Epilator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure about this product at first because the ice roller seemed gimmicky BUT it's such a great addition! It really does cool the epilated areas down and provide relief. Also, the epilator itself works great! It was powerful and it did a great job at removing hair. The only things I wish it included were a bag to easily store it on the go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never used an epilator before. The thought of them always kind of scared me. A bunch of little tweezers ripping off your hair sounded more like torture than a beauty procedure. However, this product isn't especially painful. It comes with an ice roller attachment that you put on the end of the device and roll over your skin to help soothe and numb it before and after you use the epilator. Because it goes so fast it really doesn't hurt that much. I am really happy with this epilator and I recommend it to anyone who's sick of shaving every day. My skin stays smooth for so long now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me just say this handheld device is so cool . I have never tried this type of method for hair removal. My current method is shaving. I usually get a lot of ingrown hair but so far it's been not as many it's been a week so far. I'm so happy I was able to receive this sample product because if I was just shopping I probably would have never thought to buy this but omg when I tell you, it's definitely something that I never knew I needed. It's a more convenient option for hair removal. I will def be telling all my friends about this product!!!! Highly recommend 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Conair GIRLBOMB rechargeable epilator without necessarily knowing what I was getting. It looks scary! After opening it, I put the ice roller in the freezer and let the device charge for the suggested 4 hours, then I put it back in the box (HAHA) I was not feeling brave that day. I came back to it a few days later and decided to start with my underarms, it works best for coarse hair about 1/4" in length, after pulling the skin tight and attempting to roll in every which direction it still does not seem able to grab the thin hairs, so moving on it does absolutely nothing to my leg hair as I have blonde very thin/feathery like hairs. The next day I attempted my bikini line, I made it through one strip with the ice roller BUT there is no way I could stand that to get the job done, it is a tiny torture device. If you are prepared for the pain, then this does the job. The other problem I have is that it in no way catches the hair, so you have to stand in the shower unless you want body hair all over the bathroom which is my husbands job. No, I would not personally buy this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product hurts a little when using but I have noticed my hair on my chin and upper lip not coming in as it usually does. I love that it comes with a piece you can freeze to help sooth it. I would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're interested in trying an epilator, this Conair one is great! It comes with an attachable ice roller, it's rechargeable, lightweight, and easy to take on vacation. The feeling is a lot like waxing- everyone's pain tolerance is different so to some it may hurt a lot, but to other it is nothing. For me it was a bit painful, but not intolerable. It pulls the hair from the root, so it is not like shaving. Because of this, however, you're left with really sleek, smooth areas and it takes longer for your hair to grow back afterwards. If you're tired of paying to get waxed or are of shaving so frequently this is the product for you!

I've been tempted to try an epilator for a while but it looked a bit intimidating so this sample was the perfect opportunity to finally give it a shot. I have to say, the ice roller it comes with makes a big difference. It's easy to assemble, practical since there's no cord, and perhaps a good first epilator to try. I can't say much in terms of how it compares to others since this is the first one I try, but it was definitely less scary than I thought it would be. I liked that it has two speeds too so you can choose the slower one if you're initially scared like I was. Keep in mind that epilators are not for everyone. Don't expect it to be as painless as shaving, but again, that's true for any epilator in general. It takes a few tries to figure out how to properly use it and get used to it, but if you want to try one and not have to do so much frequent shaving, this one is a good option, especially with the ice roller.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product a couple of times and wish I could love it. My main issue is that I just can't work past the pain. I'll give it a couple more tries though. The ice roller does help, it was a nice feature. Secondly, there is a learning curve. I couldn't get all my hair on the first pass. I got better the more I used it, so I think it was user error. That being said, my legs remain hairless much longer than shaving which almost makes it worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works but it takes some getting used to. For epilators to be effective the hair needs to be at a certain length. I found that it would take a few passes with the epilator to pick up the hair in a certain area. Don't go into this thinking that it will be a fast process either. You will need to do a few passes and given the area you're working with that means it will take some time. For me personally, that means that this won't be my main source of hair removal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't ask for this to be sent, I don't have any hair due to laser hair removal, so I gave it to my sister who has some hair and she said it was ok, but super painful and didn't work the best. We will both stick to laser hair removal only.
