You can use it for curtains, or wrinkled sheets on a bed, also for shirts, (but for shirts, I just iron them) Gets hot quick, nice steaming action (75 second heat up) and can steam for 15 minutes. You can kill bedbugs and dust mites, which is a GREAT feature. (keep steamer a half inch from the edges, and folds. Move one inch per second.) Can clean pillows, pet beds, and fabric couches. Tip: Don't use metal hangers, (may get too hot) and be careful not to get your doors soggy when hanging on doorknob and damage them with the steam. It works really well, and good to have as an alternative to an iron. I recommend.

I wish I could give this Conair ExtremeSteam Hand Held Fabric Steamer 6 stars! I had a Conair hand steamer 10 years ago and it was awesome. When I opened this one I wasn't sure what I thought of it, it's a different design. But after using it, I'm a believer. It's easy to fill, takes only a couple minutes to heat up. The nozzle is extra wide, which means you steam a wider portion of your clothing at a time. The steam is continuous, it doesn't spit or hesitate. There is high or low heat settings, and even a trigger lock so you don't have to pull the trigger in for larger pieces of clothing. It gets the wrinkles out perfectly. The water reservoir isn't huge, but it gives you a long amount of steam. Easily do a half dozen shirts and a couple pair of pants because of the consistency. In reality I would use this on an as needed basis, so the reservoir size isn't an issue. Conair really knocked it out of the park with this one, Bravo!

This thing is a lifesaver. I honestly and truly dislike ironing my daughter's uniforms. They are so tiny. I loathe the mini arm holes and the tiny buttons and everything that comes with making her uniforms look spiffy short of spending a fortune dry cleaning them. I love this steamer. It handled the wrinkles better than I did with any iron and it was easy to do while the uniform was still hanging up after I picked up for the eighth time off the floor where it mysteriously appeared for some reason. It handle the blouses, the skirts, the skirts, the pants, and even the jumpers. Did I mention that ironing uniforms is not my favorite thing? The steam is hot. My older daughter was using it to steam her shirt and got a little too close to the fire/smoke alarm and set it off. The warnings on the nozzle are there for a reason. It is seriously hot. My fiance has taken a liking to it using it to give his work shirts a quick go over before he leaves. I got it for me but obviously everyone else seems to be using it to. I'm happy as long as I don't have to iron tiny uniforms.

I looked at my bridesmaid gown the day before the wedding and it was a wrinkled mess. I purchased this steamer before the rehearsal dinner. Steamed my dress that night and brought the steamer to the venue just in case. Good thing I did! The dresses wrinkled easily and I was able to steam 5 girls no problem! Definitely the best purchase I could have made

This Conair hand steamer works like a charm. It was very simple to use and manage. The water tank easily popped out of its compartment and has a small silicone like stopper that allowed easy access for filling. The hole is small, so a very thin stream of water is needed. The stopper was easy to put back in place, as the water tank itself. There is no on and off button for this product, once you plug it in, it automatically begins to heat up. For this reason, I would highly recommend filling up the water tank prior to plugging it in for use. The same goes for refilling the water tank. It is best to unplug this steamer prior to setting it down on anything. I did not have any issues, but I also didn't want any issue. The steam only comes out if you are holding the button on the handle, or if you place the handle lock into place. When the handle lock is moved into the lock position, you can freely steam without stopping with use on approximate 3-5 items. I was able to steam my daughter's thin uniforms and a jean jacket before the water tank ran out. To hang my garments, I simply used a 3M hook that was already in place. The same will work for any towel knob or hanger that is hanging front facing, but I do recommend using a hook on the back of a door for simplicity.

I am writing a review for the Spark Review program for the Conair Extreme Steam Hand Held Fabric Steamer. This item was smaller than I expected, but surprisingly useful. The water cartridge was easy to remove and fill. Heating time took less than two minutes and was good enough for one large item or two smaller items. The steamer had three removable attachments that provided various steaming options for cleaning or smoothing material. The fabric brush option allowed for opening up fibers, allowing deeper cleaning. The creaser attachment was great for pleats, and the soft cushion attachment allowed for easier management of more delicate material. The shape of the handle and entire device was ergonomically suited for easier grasping and managing. It also had two heat settings, that allowed for managing various materials, or in my case getting the job done quickly. I liked the color and design of this product. It was sleek, elegant, easily stored, and easy to clean. I will definitely use this item regularly, therefore eliminating the need for the frequent cost of dry cleaners.

While this product is good and does what it is intended to do, I do have a few thoughts on its performance. It did have a very quick heat up time and was ready to use in a little over one minute. I tested the product on a very thin, very wrinkled cotton clothing item. I had it on high heat, and even on high heat, I felt like it took longer than it should have on such a thin piece of cotton fabric. The only way it took out the wrinkles was if I touched the end of the steamer to the fabric. Once I did that, it took the wrinkles out after a couple of passes. The instructions say to pass the steamer just above the fabric, but it didn't quite work for me this way. I believe part of the reason it didn't really work for me this way was because the steam doesn't come out with as much force as I would have expected it to have. Once the trigger is pressed, it took a couple seconds for the steam to start coming out after sputtering a little bit. The instructions also say to use distilled water. Overall, this product does what it says it will do. I am relatively happy with it and I would recommend it.

Conair Extreme Steam Hand Held Fabric Steamer is a good option to de-wrinkle fabric. It measures around 12 inches tall by 7 inches wide and it comes in white with blue accents. The steamer is shaped like a large scanner gun. There is no extra accessories to the steamer. It comes with dual heat in the settings, low and high. The water tank is blue and it is located on the bottom front portion of the steamer. The water tank is easy to remove, just pull a tab up and pull the tank to be removed from the steamer. The tank has a rubber seal that needs to be removed to be filled with water. Once the tank is filled, it can be put back into the steamer and turned on. The middle of the steamer has a switch that can be moved either to be lock to unlocked. When looked the steam will stop flowing out. It also has a steam reset button (that can be accessed behind the water tank) in case the steam doesn't come out in a good flow. When using the steamer, you have to make sure to test the steam on a small portion of the fabric. Some delicate fabric may not withstand the steams heat. I think it works well with some fabric like synthetics, but it has a harder time de-wrinkling cotton or thicker fabrics. It is a good item for quick de-wrinkling of clothes, curtains, or bedding.

The conair hand held fabric steamer did not perform that well to me. The steamer is easy to setup just fill with distilled water. The steamer heats up quickly in about a minute and fifteen seconds. There is a high and low setting for the amount of steam that you want to use. There is a trigger to squeeze for steam or you can push a locking clamp to keep on continuous steam. The unit does produce a large quantity of steam. I tried this steamer on 2 shirts and 2 sets of pants. For my use it didn't get the wrinkles out well. I spent over 5 minutes on each piece of clothing and it didn't really get the wrinkles out. I found this steamer to be heavy and it made my arm tired after prolonged use. Also it would be nice if it had something that you can sit it on. I had to hold it in between each piece of clothing because it's to hot to set down and it doesn't have any device on it to keep it upright to rest it on something. For me personally I would rather go ahead and iron my clothes. The iron provides a much nicer look and is way faster than this steamer. This item would work best for items that can't be ironed.

I received this product for my honest rating and review. My package arrived with no damage. I received Conair ExtremeSteam Hand Held Fabric Steamer with Dual Heat, White, Model GS237. This handheld Fabric steamer is advertised to give professional results. It gives extreme steam with dual steam technology. It is green/ clean using water only and no chemicals, a quick and easy alternative to to ironing, and can be used on most types of garments and fabrics. It was easy to use and heated up fast. I was excited to try it on my curtains because i resently washed them and they were very wrinkled. I used it on both low and high setting with very minimal results. I also used it on my son's button up cotton shirt. I got better results with my sons shirt but nothing a little tumble in the dryer couldn't do. I am not impressed with this product so I can't reccomend you spend your money on this. I rate it 3 out of 5 because worked on my son's shirt .
