Conair SmoothStart Garment Streamer – Adjustable Steam, Portable

My biggest problem with other steamers I have used is that they would run out of water quickly and I would have to continually refill it while steaming one item. This Conair steamer has a larger tank that can hold more water and will continue to run for up to eighteen minutes from one tank! The steamer itself turns on to a full steam within 35 seconds and has five different steam levels/settings depending on what fabric and garment is being steamed. I love the way it sits easily in my hand as I use it, and it is easy to grip and maneuver. I also appreciate that an attachable fabric brush that can be popped onto the steamer was included with the set. I was so pleased with how well it has worked for me, and I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quality steamer!

It gets rid of wrinkles INSTANTLY, it’s easy to use, has a long power cord, and is pretty small so I’ll be able to store it in our laundry room with ease. I won’t need an ironing board either. It is a little heavy but that’s expected. I love it!

This steamer is surprisingly very quiet when in use and feels sturdy. There's 5 steam settings, takes 35 seconds to heat up, and provides you with 18 minutes of continuous steam. It's about average size for a steamer. Definitely could fit in a suitcase or larger bag for travel although not super compact if that's what you're looking for. Other than that, it's super user friendly and easy to handle. Lightweight so you can easily steam for the full 18 minute session if needed. Design is beautiful and sleek.

It's lightweight and easy to hold and fill. I didn't use the brush attachment (as I prefer to steam without any additional attachments) so I cannot speak to how well that works. I wish it was easier to drain out any leftover water, but this is not an issue unique to this specific steamer. Overall, I am pleased with the performance of this item!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This steamer is amazing!! Setup is very simple, just fill with water, plug into an outlet, and turn on. Heats up quickly and is easy to hold. I like that the buttons are very obvious to make the water hotter/cooler, and the lock/unlock function to apply steam. One thing I do wish is that the cord was retractable to make the steamer easier to store. Otherwise, this is fantastic and a time-saver.

While it's not as powerful as a commercial steamer, I thought it produced a lot of steam and was perfect for lightweight or natural fibers. For thicker or larger items you will have to refill the reservoir. It is easy to use and you don't really need any instructions. I also like that the base is wide and stable. Overall I would recommend it as a good option for quickly finishing your clothes but you may still need an iron for some items.

The metal piece does get very hot and you have to be careful not to burn yourself but otherwise a good product. I also had a bit of difficulty with the ON button because it has a very particular way you have to click it for the steamer to turn on. Would definitely recommend this product!
