I guess for this particular type of roller this is the Extra Large, but for what I expected it's a bit small. I expected a bigger diameter, but when I shopped the other day and saw the Multi-Pack of this particular roller in store, these are the biggest in that variety. I've tried them out though, and until I find bigger rollers in a separate pack (I don't need the smaller sizes, so Walmart's Multi-Packs are useless to me) I will use them. They come apart easily, so rolling up longer hair is definitely a challenge and then of course it takes forever to dry. It does make bouncy curls, once it is dry. So I guess if that's your desired style, these are for you. So for that I'd recommend them. I wouldn't sleep with them on though, they're too uncomfortable to lay on and like I said, they snap apart easily. I do like the way they close, you don't need any extra Clips or Pins, so that's definitely a plus.
The package is smaller than it looks online and the rollers are certainly not high end materials. However, I wanted something that wasn't high heat. They work. No frills. It's cumbersome but certainly worth the cost of continual access to curls vs the price of one visit to the salon.
I used this type of roller as a teenager. I would just put them in my dry hair and go to bed. I'm 64now and I'm ready for that hastle free hair care. These are of very good quality and will stay in my hair just fine.
The rollers function as expected, but they seem to be the same size as large rollers instead of extra-large.
The curlers were not extra large. I do not use the curlers at the crown or sides of the head where I wanted volume. I use them for hair along the neckline.
these aren't any larger than those you can find anywhere wven a dollar store. ordered from amazon and got very large curlers.
They were not extra large.
Would have liked them bigger size.
These are advertised as extra large. They are not.
Not extra large curlers they are small
