[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thermometer is not only easy to use but easy to read. I also like this device versus traditional thermometer because it is quick and definitely kid friendly. I think every family with small children needs one of these.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how easy and quick it is to use. Once you turn it on, you simply put it in the ear and press the back button once. It beeps and reads the temperature in a matter of seconds. It gave an accurate reading every time I tried it. I like the light display as well. This is great when littles are sick and you need a quick temperature reading. I received this product for free in exchange for writing a review.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The perfect thermometer, especially if you have kids. Very easy to use, kid friendly and reduces up to 99.9% of surface bacteria, which helps prevent germs from being transferred. I really love how easy it is to read, since the numbers are pretty large and come up on a lighted background. Plus, it's so simple to use. All you need to do is press the power button, when it beeps and turns blue (last temp will show on screen, which is great for tracking), take off the cap, place the probe in ear canal and press scan. If it emits a slow double beep, a low-fever was detected, if it emits a faster triple beep, then a high-level fever was detected. We were all sick 2 weeks ago, we have an 8 year old and a toddler and this thermometer was amazing to use through the process.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thermometer is super easy to use. The packaging was easy to get into. All that is required for setup is to insert the batteries that came with the product. Once setup all I had to do is place the thermometer in my child's ear and push the power button.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a reliable and easy-to-use device that helps me to monitor body temperature with ease. The thermometer is designed to detect infrared energy radiated from the skin and tissue in the ear canal, which makes it a safe and accurate way to measure the temperature. The thermometer is very easy to use and provides accurate readings. I love the large LCD display that shows the temperature readings clearly. It's also great that the thermometer has a memory function that stores the last 32 readings, which is helpful if you want to track your progress over time. I have a young child who is a light sleeper, so it's important for me to be able to take the temperature without any disturbance. The silent mode option allows me to do just that, which is a huge relief. My kid was suffering from fever and it gave me the accurate reading. I am very pleased with its performance and highly recommend to all who is looking for a reliable and easy-to-use thermometer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a conair girl anyway, so when I was selected to review this product I was super excited and the conair infrared ear thermometer did not let me down. As a mom of a rambunctious 5 year old boy, I need a thermometer that is both easy to use and will quickly give a temperature reading. You simply hit the power button, when the lines appear stick it gently into the ear and tap the scan button. Within a fraction of a second you have a clear and accurate temperature displayed on the screen. Love it. Another amazing conair product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ConairCare Infrared Ear Thermometer makes a great addition to your home health arsenal! The thermometer is quick and easy to use and appears to take accurate temperatures. This is definitely my go to thermometer vs other infrared thermometers that we have in our medicine cabinet. **full disclosure ** I received the ConairCare Infrared Ear Thermometer for free in lieu of using the thermometer and writing a review.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Discloser: I received this product for free in exchange for writing an honest review. Great thermometer! It's lightweight, has a bright screen, and is very easy to use. It runs on 3 AAA batteries, which are included. There are 2 buttons: Power On/Off and the Scan/Memory button. The memory function is my favorite feature. The thermometer will save up to 32 previous readings which you can review by pressing the scan button before powering on. My one critique is I would prefer a slightly higher contrast on the screen, but it's still very easy to read.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not have an ear thermometer at home and was excited to try the ConairCare Infrared Ear Thermometer. The exterior packaging was very simple yet professional and attractive with easy to read start-up instructions written on the side of the box. Inside the box is an instruction booklet with detailed instructions if needed. I was excited that batteries were included in the box making it easy to start taking temperatures right out of the box. At first, I was a little confused about which button was the power button and the scan button. It would be helpful to have highlighted that in the start-up instructions on the box. Maybe adding a different/brighter color to one or both buttons might help with that. Before scanning, I had to remove the plastic cap which I have to say is somewhat difficult to remove. It is fairly tight and I heard a cracking sound when pulling on the two plastic pieces on the cap to remove it. Over time, it could potentially break since it is a thin plastic. Maybe a different type of cap made from a stronger/softer material would work better? I was excited to try it out but not excited about how it felt in my ear. The ear piece feels rather hard and it didn't feel like it fit comfortably in my ear. As I was taking temps of my family members, they too felt like it was too hard. I wish it had been a softer ear piece maybe a silicone type material for various ear canal sizes. I am still testing the readings to confirm accuracy but initially it seems to be reading temperatures well. I do like the fact that it has a low grade and high grade fever alert option however, I did not have that issue with anyone in my family at the time of testing. It does state that the thermometer is antibacterial with cleaning instructions located in the manual. Overall, it is a very nice thermometer and worked just as intended. It is definitely a must have for your home! I would recommend this thermometer for use with kids and adults.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Conair for the free infrared ear thermometer in exchange for an honest review. I'm very happy with the product itself and I think that it really does a great job for what it's supposed to do. I had an ear thermometer when I was young that we used all the time. That one had disposable covers that went over the tip so that it was a little more hygienic for using with more people. But overall, this one seems to do really good other than that. I like that it is easy to use. You just push the button to turn it on and then push the button to do a scan. Then you put it in your ear and wait. It beeps to let you know that it's done. Now, the beep isn't quite as long as the instructions imply so make sure you check the screen when you hear the beep. That way you can see what the results are on the screen. The screen is bright and easy to read. And when you turn it on again it will show you the last scan. That way if you miss it when you do your scan you can still see the result. Plus, it's designed to store up to 32 readings so if you have someone with a fever you can make sure it's going down (or monitor in case it goes up). It's small, lightweight, simple, and has a record for temperatures, so this is definitely something that I will continue to use with my family. Especially because it's easier to use with my little one who doesn't like our standard thermometer.
