With "sick season" just starting its great for families as illness goes through everyone. Great that we can tell who is sick and keep our distance. I also love it as I am struggling with menopause. Many times I am sweating and feeling awful and not sure if I am ill or just hot flashes. Now I can find out quickly and count on the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During 2020 to 2022, I used two different thermometers to assess whether I had a fever (during the covid initial surge and through the various re-occurrences). They worked well but I was looking for something a bit more hygienic as those were to be placed in mouth. The Conair is excellent as it is used on the forehead. I did check it against the others and found only one or two degrees difference as it is between them as well. I am very happy! Especially since I work in a production type environment whereas I am constantly interacting with others that may come to work sick. In fact, I used it this morning as I feel a cold coming on. Worked great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 3 year old and 4 year old that both fight having their temperature taken, and I hate fighting them especially when they don't feel good. This forehead thermometer makes my life SO much easier! Just a quick touch to the forehead and I get an accurate reading. I tried it several times on every person in our family, and compared the temp to our old regular thermometer. It was accurate every time, but MUCH quicker and easier! I also love that it vibrates when done instead of beeping- that'll make it easier to check temps when my kids are sleeping.

In the box it comes with the thermometer, batteries and easy to understand directions. I also like that this product tracks your fevers for a 24 hr pierod. It's also very easy to use. All you do is aim it to your forehead and press the button. Then you get your temperature on the display. This display is bright and big for easy reading. I'm very happy to have found such a great thermometer that's fast and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Conair sent me this ConairCare Infrared Forehead Thermometer through the BzzAgent sampling program. So far I like it. I have checked the accuracy against another thermometer and it seems accurate. It is easy to use and the display is very clear. The only thing that I don't like is there is only one button. I know that they did this for simplicity, but I personally like having at least two buttons – on/off switch and a button to take the temperature.

I gave it 4 stars because I still needed to find the instructions to understand the features like vibration and how to actually get it to initiate a response versus just power on.

This thermometer was gifted to me after surgery. I wasn't taking my own temperature at the time so was unaware that a piece of tape had to be placed over the battery door. Needing to use it a couple of days ago I removed the tape and replaced the batteries still get a low signal and battery won't door won't stay on without tape. I tried new batteries twice. I have several Conair products and I'm happy with all of them would like to give a good review but honesty may help them fix this flaw.

I was very impressed with the functionality and speed of the thermometer. First let's start with what I liked. It is very easy to use (point and click) and it reads temperature quickly. I love that it has the ability to turn on or off the sounds (and instead use a vibration function to let you know that the temperature reading is complete). The design is compact and slim, it makes it very easy to hold as well as store. Now for the things that could be improved. The biggest issue I had with this thermometer was the accuracy of the temperature read. It was consistently significantly lower than our in ear thermometer and under the tongue. I would not recommend this as your only thermometer as I do not believe the readings are completely accurate. However, if you have identified that your child has a fever this thermometer would be excellent to quickly see if the temperature has changed. With the no touch design and ability to silence it would be perfect for checking on your sleeping sick kiddo without disturbing them. Overall, I like the design and functionality but the accuracy is concerning to me.

I bought this infrared thermometer about 6 months ago and it worked great. But after a couple months of not using it it completely died! I mean I replaced the batteries and nada. It doesn't worked. I've tried 8 replacement batteries and nothing. I can't find receipt so I'm stuck with a nice looking gizmo practically new but doesn't even light up. Very disappointing especially when one is sick and needs to take their temperature.
