The trimmers are smooth and I love that it comes with everything you need in a small portable container. I did with the container was a bit thicker as it seems a bit too flimsy and I would've preferred a cordless as this one doesn't seem to be too long.

Spring time is here and I decided to cut some of my facial hair off since it's getting warm out. I like the wood look and feel of this cutter. It took less than a minute using the 1/2" guard. The guards are made out of plastic as well as the case and did ok. I will have to go back with a finishing trimmer since this doesn't get down to the skin. But having a cord give this plenty of horsepower for a quick cut!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the clippers for my two sons to shape up the back of their head and hairline. I like that it's not too loud for them (10y and 3y) and it isn't sharp, which is important for their skin. It also does the hairline pretty sharply so my wife was pleased with that. I wish it were cordless as they tend to move a bit and they're in the chair so I don't like the cord wrapping around the chair with my daughter (1y) walking around me. But other than that the handle grips nicely and it's not slippery. It has a nice professional look to it, despite being simple for home barbers like myself.

I'm disappointed with this hair clipper. Although it looks nice, it doesn't cut well, and heats up fast. I used it the first time on Sunday, and it took forever for me to cut my hair with the 2 guard. The cut was bad and looks chopped. I'm not going to return it. I'll use it for one year or until it wears out, which might be sooner, and then swap it out for a Wahl.
