I used it to cut my son's hair and It's much better than my old pair of clippers. These clippers are very smooth and precise. Great quality clippers for the at home professional look!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used an earlier model from the same manufacturer with a similar design. My old one was heavier than this and it had no battery system. That unit is still going strong even after over a decade of usage.

You get what you pay for with this product. It's decent enough to fulfill your needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a non-haircutting professional I was looking for something that I could use to trim my own hair as well as my sons hair. The look of the product is aesthetically pleasing with the faux wood and gold trim. The matte finish of the wood does make it hard to grip if your hands are wet. The only other physical component that was a limitation was the length of the power cord. The thing that stands out is the wide variety of accessories that come with the clippers in addition to the travel case. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of options I had. Also included was the comb set and apron which were a nice touch.

I knew from the beginning that it was probably not a real wood handle, but wood grain design, however, my impression is that it was more cheaply built than other clippers I have used, including other Conair clippers. My first impression when I received the product and took it out of the box, was this looks like it's going to be a high quality item. The packaging looks really nice and is high quality. I like the design of the packaging for sure. But as I continued to open it, the first thing I noticed is the case is a very thin plastic, which feels like it would crack or chip if I dropped it on a hard floor. The latch doesn't close if you just squeeze the box shut, you have to push your finger on the latch for it to lock shut. Which is fine, however, I want to say that I have bought Conair clippers in the past that came with a case and the case was much more durable. So, I'm comparing, but also subjectively judging the product as it is without comparison. So, on to the clippers themselves, the handle feels like a thin plastic that could crack or break if I accidentally drop it on the floor. I don't know if it would, but I'm saying the handle feels cheap. But it looks great! I love the wood grain design with the gold toned metal part! It looks amazing. I initially plugged it in to an extension cord just because that was the closest thing to me when I opened it and it didn't work. I was worried I got a defective item. But then I plugged it into a wall and it did work. So, I don't know how I feel about the power button. It's a push button with a spring mechanism that you just push in. I'm used to the kind you push left or right. It works just fine, I'm just not used to it. I'm happy with the lower noise level of the clippers. It's not as loud as any of the ones I've used in the past. It left me wondering how well it will cut. But then I tried it out and it cuts hair just fine and without pulling. They are nice clippers

I'm not an expert at cutting my own hair but I must say I'm impressed with the quality of these clippers compared to others I've tried. If looking for an alternative from the traditional clipper go to's this is a good option!

I'm disappointed with this hair clipper. Although it looks nice, it doesn't cut well, and heats up fast. I used it the first time on Sunday, and it took forever for me to cut my hair with the 2 guard. The cut was bad and looks chopped. I'm not going to return it. I'll use it for one year or until it wears out, which might be sooner, and then swap it out for a Wahl.

It doesn't work it drips what another waste of time Walmart I'm starting to lose faith
