Great item, especially for the price! I had no idea a simple step ladder could be so expensive. But this one very affordable and great , very sturdy. but yet not overly heavy, easily moved about and folded flat for storage. I am over 6 ft tall and weigh 250 lb, this step ladder is very sturdy, does not move, wiggle, or give way at all. I highly recommend if you are looking for great quality at a fair price and you just need a couple of extra feet of height to accomplish a project, not spend unnecessary amount of money for something you're just not using all that often.
Very sturdy ladder. Will not slip. The steps are narrow. But are comfortable to stand on. It is light weight easy to move around. Folds up for easy storage.
It is a very nice, good-looking, lightweight, yet sturdy ladder. It would have been 5 stars, if it was taller. The last full step on which you can stand with both feet is not even a foot taller than my 4 step very heavy Home Depot ladder that I had for years and was trying to upgrade with this one. Yes, you can also use the very very top narrow bar (a sort of step, but not really)) which is 6 feet tall, but it can only be used for a second while trying to pull up with both hands to a higher area, such as an attic or roof. I would not recommend standing on it any longer than a few seconds and even then with both hands fully grabbing some sturdy object above - it is too narrow, and potentially slippery - you can't work at this height for any period of time. I think I will still keep it, as it is easier to carry around and still an improvement over my old one, unless I can find a taller one within the return window
It is true - you get what you pay for? Even though this is being marketed as 3 step step stool - just see when I am putting it next to my 2 step stool(safety first - that i am having for around 2 decades)-it's wider and taller. 2nd step of that is taller than that. Effectively it's 3rd step is slightly taller than this. Another issue - steps are narrow. Also at the time of folding - this doesn't fold immediately or one hand fold - don't know why? I just bought it for my 2 story house so that i don't have to carry it from one floor to another. May be returning it
Notice the bottom step is almost at ground level, not an actual step. So you won't get a 6' height. If you just need a nice household ladder, it's a great ladder. A really nice feature is that it's made to give you something to hold on to when you're on the top step. Gorilla ladders don't have that feature. Lightweight %26 sturdy, good price.
It didn't feel very sturdy. The steps felt like they were gonna give out and I'm only 115lbs. I was better off standing on a chair as it's the same height and it felt a lot sturdier.
It’s a decent step stool, but it doesn’t match the product photo at all and this is false advertising. It is white, not black, and the steps aren’t nearly as wide. The grips for the steps appear to be glued on as well. Definitely would not have purchased this if it had been accurately described.
I ordered the stool in black but for some reason I was sent a white one. I needed the step stool in a hurry otherwise I would have just sent it back to get what I actually ordered. It's sturdy, good value, just not what I ordered. Bummed on the color.
Purchased ladder for quick easy use. Was using ladder hanging plastic above my head when one of the legs broke. It did not bend, the metal broke. I fell hard enough off the ladder I broke both of my wrist. The ladder broke right at the bottom screw hole for the bottom step. I wouldn’t buy as I am guess there are some defects in these ladders.
Item was described as a 5 step ladder. It was a 4 step ladder with a platform to put stuff on. You aren’t supposed to stand on the platform and it has a warning that shows you not to step on platform which leaves only 4 tiny steps that are usable - it’s one step higher than my 3 step ladder
