So far I'm pleased with my Concord Combo Cable Lock. I use it on my bike when I ride it to the store. And when I'm not using it on my bike we're putting it on our new gas grill and locking it to the carport. It comes with a preset combination that's printed on a metal ring. It didn't come with a lot of information but I don't think you can ever change the combination from its original preset one. It's an 8 MM steel cable that's 4 ft long. Its security level is 1 basic. I like this a lot so I think I'll also look for a higher security level to use on the grill and keep this one for my bike.

Protect your bike with this at school, parks, swimming pool, or anywhere you travel. My son has been using this for a few weeks and he lioves it. Bike locks are recommended at scholl and this is the first year he has used one. The combination is stamped on a small tag that can be romoved and placed on a key ring or we fastened it to the zipper of his school bag. He is 10 and finds this easy to use and it wraps up nice and tight so it can be stored wrapped around the bottom of his seat.

Minimal deterrent. I would not park something overnight or for a long time with this but works pretty well for if you are going to run in and out of a store and got a cheap bike. I used it for a cheap garage kept bike that I got at a yard sale and lock it up to run in and out of fast food places or a gas station. I lost and forgot the combination when I didn't ride it for a month and was able to figure it out in less than 5 minutes to write it down again and first lock I've done that to so I wouldn't put much faith in it. Still keeps them from hopping on and immediately riding away. I honestly got this because it was the only one in stock for under $30 at my store and I only paid 20 for the bike.

standard cable lock the thing that I don't like about this item is you cannot change the combination from the preset one it comes with. I find it easier to remember if I create my own code. Its not very secure as well and came apart too quickly, now its unusable

The product purchased shows a combination lock and also on the package it shows preset 4-digit combination located on lock;however it's only a key lock, no combination!
