Concord 8MM Key Cable Bicycle Lock

I haven't owned a bike for about twenty years, now. The doctor orders me to find a leg exercise besides walking. My feet are shot from years of staff infections due to concrete work. Hence, the new Huffy Rock Creek mountain bike. Purchased at Walmart for a really low cost. Sooo...one must have the bare essentials to ride. An air pump and a decent cable lock. Walmart provided both, and the lock is so simple to use. I've enjoyed the thrice-weekly rides; however, I came to realize that my bike-riding legs are weak at best. Looking forward to being in better shape, thanks to Walmart

The Concord Key Cable Bike Lock is a handy, standard-issue bike lock that has a flexible cord to maneuver when locking my bike. The metal cording is covered by a strong plastic exterior. The included keys work just fine, however this bike lock would be more suitable with a padlock locking system rather than having to carry the key.

It features a four foot by eight-millimeter steel cable that coils up easily to store under a bike seat and includes two keys. To lock your bike properly, wrap the cable around your bicycle frame, front or rear tire, and a fixed object. Heavy duty 4' x 8mm steel cable.

Overall this is a good product. It is not a top-of-the-line chain lock, so I wouldn't recommend it for people with $$$$ bikes. But for every day use or to take camping? Yep, this'll work. The locking mechanism can be tricky if you don't place it in the correct position. And I can see how over time the body of the lock may loosen. Otherwise, definitely worth the cost and I'm sure this will last for several years.

This is a level 1 bike lock. I would not recommend using this for an expensive bike. A swift hit with a hammer or twist with a crow bar will pop this lock. However, if you have a low $ bike and want to feel somewhat secure, and don't want to spend a lot of money on a lock, go for this lock.

I received Concord Lock Key Cable in Grey. Item #7154314. This 4ft key cable lock includes 2 keys and features an 8mm steel cable. It's a basic security level lock recommended for bicycles. I am using this as a deterrent for my lawnmower and small trailer at the moment. I have it fed the trailer wheel and lawnmower wheel. My current situation requires me to have them stored in a very visible location on my property so for the time being, I'm hoping this will help as a temporary deterrent.

For a while now, i have been thinking about buying a quality bike cable for my new bicycle which i intend to use for exercise purposes. I have found the Concord bike cable to be what i have been looking for as far as keeping my bicycle secured when I'm away.

This is the security I needed for my bike. I love knowing my bike is safe. Rain doesn't affect my lock at all which I love. I haven't incurred any rust from my bike lock. It's very sturdy and heavy which is great. It's easy for me but difficult to anyone trying to take my bike.

This product is for my bike thats coming tomorrow. I know I wont have to worry about performance. Walmart is perfect for me you know. I used to take my kids almost everyday. Oops I ran out of pepper...honey me and the kids are off to walmart. He did not say anything because he knew there was something for him too. Walmart put smiles on peoples faces....I wonder if they know that.

It works good for what it needs to do. I've used it for my regular bike and for an e-bike, both has been secured. Don't expect to wrapp too much for its length. I always wrap my bike tire with the frame of the bike that's near to it and attach it to the pole or rack. If I'm able to edit I'll take a picture and update
