Great chainbreak tool! I was a pro bmx racer back in the day and the old one I owned was poor.

Having children who loves the outdoors as much as the adults, this repair kit was heaven sent. This allows us to take the kit with us while bike riding for easy access to repair what's needed as quickly as possible.

What you don't pay for in price, you pay in lack of usability. While tightening the press pin it wonders around requiring constant re-centering on the chain pin. Also, the handle rubber ends keep falling off causing the handle to fall out of the shaft. Tip: oil the screw so it does less binding as you turn it. It will get the job done if you only need it for 1 or 2 chains, but don't count on it for a long term addition to your toolbox.

This kit is absolutely necessary, especially if you have children who lovwles to go bike riding. The concord bicycle chain repair kit came in handy while out on a riding excursion. Its rwally simple to use and small enough to fit in a bookbag

An actual piece of garbage, I don’t write reviews ever but this needs to be written. My chain broke, I tried fixing it with this, and all it did was waste 3 hours of my time, 8$ of my money, and now I’m livid. Don’t buy, it won’t work.

Out of the package threads were rough to spin. Hard to turn just in the air by itself. went to take pin out and just slight tension on the extractor seized up, just as I touched the pin. Without any further tightening I attempted to back it out and snapped / sheared off. couldn't even use it right out of the package. PURE JUNK

The instructions included with this kit are very brief and assume some knowledge of bike chain repair. If this is your first time repairing a bike chain you might need to watch an instructional video, but it depends on your knowledge of the terminology. It gives instructions for 1/2" x 3/32" and 1/2" x 1/8" chains, though the repair pieces are not included. This is just the tool (and the alcohol wipes) alone - no master links were included in my set, though it looks like they were supposed to be. Would not recommend.

It was missing items

very poor quality. Could not extract the rivet from the chain. The threads on the tool stripped on the first try. Had to use hand tools to get the chain apart.

I unscrewed the thing and went to screw it back in and the threads jammed tight couldn't even move them with cheaters something wrong with the threads was better off using a grinder and screwdriver
