We were extremely happy with the Confer system. It provided a stable platform for getting in and out of our 5" high above ground pool. The only reason for a 4 star rating is that one of our family members slipped while getting out of the pool and coming down the ladder. I immediately went out and purchased some traction tape and installed it on the steps. I think the manufacturer would be doing its customers a favor by supplying this inexpensive tape in stair kit.

Although the products delivered were very well constructed and easy to put together, it was a little deceiving that the steps were advertised as an A Frame, as the inside and outside steps have no way of connecting together, so it really doesn't work as an A Frame as advertised.

Like the idea of steps since we are older but once you get them in the pool and attached to each other they are still wobbly. Will work for this season but will probably be looking for different ones for next year.
