These are very well built and much sturdier than you might think. We have been looking to replace one of our ladders with steps, we are very glad to have purchased these. Make sure to buy pool filter sand for ballast, and not play sand. play sand is wet and impossible to pour!
easy assembly! Make sure you place the proper amount of sand according to instructions. It takes time for the water to fill in all the holes so be patient for it to settle down!
Its surprisingly sturdy and fairly easy to put together. You will need to purchase sand to anchor it, its not included.
I was very pleased with the pool stairs. They were easy to assemble and the instructions were clear and a breeze to follow. A rubber mallet is a must and 40 pounds of dry sand gave a near neutral buoyancy to the stairs when placed in water. I used a Tapcom 5/32" x 3-1/2" concrete bit for two 3/16"Tapcom anchor screws per anchor brace to keep the stairs in position on my concrete apron inground pool. We love the stairs and hope removal for winter is also as easy as installation.
High quality, the right size, fairly easy to assemble and prompt shipping. Make sure you let all the air out so it does not remain buoyant.
So far we have started putting them together. Putting them together is pretty simple, like that the sand goes inside the device instead of needing sand bags to hold it down. We are now considering buying the left side. Too bad white was not available. Other than that, we are pleased.
The steps seem well put together and durable for years to come. Purchase a rubber mallot to get the pieces together, which will make your life much easier. Addin the sand is the worst part since most bag sand is wet which makes it very hard adding it to the small 3/4 hole. All in all pretty easy to put together with a clean look.
they look great. The overall directions are clear and easy to follow. It calls to fill them with 40lbs of sand. i did that, and they just float right away. I've added 4 waterproof bags of sand, and they are all 25lbs . The steps are still shakey, and the front legs just don't feel very secure in their position. I'll probably look to replace them with something more heavy duty
I don’t know what to do with this. Half way through assembly we discovered the add on box didn’t have the correct parts in it. We had extra of some, and none of others. We have no way to install the side hand rail because of this, and missing a footer to support the curve. The add on box had clearly been opened before and was heavily taped back up. It looks like someone swapped out parts and returned, and no one bothered to check before shipping it back out again. I don’t have the patience or strength to take this thing apart to return it.
It looks good on the photo. I just don’t care for the look-Looks like it should be in an above ground pool. It did not sink and stay at the bottom, there is a piece on the bottom that won’t stay together. I’m going to attempt to return it.
