This ladder was perfect for what I needed to replace my old ladder!!! It is very strong and sturdy!!! Easy to assemble and easy to keep clean!!! I actually like it better than the one I had before that cost twice as much…so the price is actually a fair price too!!! Highly recommended!!!

Ladder is amazing and sturdy! Arrived faster than the shipping date predicted which was great! As other reviews have mentioned, the direction booklet wasn't the best so it took us a minute to figure out that you push the square part you stand on down to keep the two sides stable. We put it together in less than an hour and I love being able to comfortably sit on the top and watch my children play in our pool- our other ladder was too narrow. Still haven't figured out the lock mechanism on the left side, but for now the sliding barrier works great! Money well spent!

Nice sturdy ladder. Like the locking step cover. Pretty easy to assemble. Do make sure you have a rubber mallet handy so you don't take a chance on breaking the plastic. Also have a helper to help put it in the pool. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

What's not to love about this thing? It's huge and it's sturdy. The locking roll up panel is awesome in a yard with grand kids and neighbor kids running by. Everything about the ladder is solid and heavy. All the parts snap together tightly. The instruction manual is very clear to read and understand. Everything you'll be assembling is marked with clear, easy to ready letters and numbers and.. I'm almost convinced it'd be impossible to put this thing together wrong. As an added bonus, I believe the weight rating is 300 lb. but between you and me... it'll effectively support someone closer to 400... although I wouldn't recommend jumping on it at that weight. Just a pleasure to occasionally buy something online and have it meet or exceed your expectations in every way. Well done

Very Sturdy Pool Ladder for above ground pools over 48 -52 inches high. My wife and I assembled this ladder in about two hours (I work slowly - and very carefully ensuring I fully understand the instructions.) Overall the instructions was good - a few little areas of interpretation - but all parts were exceptionally well marked and cautions were frequent for ensuring you put things together the "right" way. The ladder does need to be secured to the pool (if possible) or to some structure to ensure it does not move laterally.

Haven't opened it yet. Will be getting ground leveled and putting up pool and new ladder when the weather warms up. Pools seemed to be flying off the market so I ordered pool and a more sturdy ladder early.

You need a deck for this ladder. The picture is very misleading. The description does not state this.
