My cats like it and started using it right away. They like it best with one side flat on the floor as it's more stable that way. Easy to put together. 👍🏻

The scratching mats are dense corrugated cardboard. The side pieces are wood. Comes with plastic screws and a little screwdriver. Better than expected. I will recommend and likely buy another. BEST RECOMMENDATION? My cats that scratches. went to it immediately and used it! :)

Well, it is a nice scratch board. The only problem was with the person who put it together. That person was me. I kinda messed up with it a little bit, but I didn't want to start all over again. If you can borrow a spare pair of hands it'll be much easier. And I mean cat paws. Look at it real good before you start. I do have to say the cat paws were all up what I was trying to do. NOTE: The 2 sides at the top do go up above the cardboard by about an inch. I have one side correct but the other side is slightly down too much and it does make a difference. Good luck!

Good shape for versatility, but not stable in the upright position. My cat went right to it so that is good. Cardboard gets everywhere as usual. Take a while to put together which is not worth it since it will be destroyed before too long. I knew the cardboard was a mistake - if they made one in sisal with sturdy holders it would be great.

I thought that my cat would like this , cat scratcher, but she refuses to use it. I'm not sure. It's the scratchers fault though. She rarely likes anything new that I get her. I guess I'll try them flat and see if that works.

my 2 cats dont use it, it was pretty looking, easy to assemble. but they prefer just the walmart cardboard cat scratcher. if you're kitty uses it , great. no problem with quality or assembly except you may need a hammer.so all in all, nothing wrong wrong with it, my cats are particular!

I purchased this kind of cat scratcher many times because that's what one of my girls prefers, it fit together like a glove only issue is it smells like starfish or fish.I've smelt it in fabrics before. It was a no-go I did not keep it I got a refund but if you can get past the smell I'd give it the best rating I could because far as going together the material everything was fine but the smell the next morning I got up in the whole room reeked.
