The Pros: It's heavy for its size and very sturdy. It does a nice job of cleaning the top of the grate. The wood is better than a wire brush, especially if you have enamel coated grates.
The cons: pretty pricey for a piece of wood. The handle is so wide you have to push it as opposed to getting a grip on it. You can only use it on one type of grill grate. I have a wire grate on my charcoal bbq and a wide bar style grate on my gas. Because you burn your grooves while you clean it won't really work on both. Also, on the gas bbq especially, it doesn't clean the sides of the grates, only the top. Alas, I am still looking for that perfect grill brush.
