ConservCo Brass Hose Bibb Lock with Padlock

Once I realized how to correctly use it, this has been a life saver.Water is cheaper when there isn't someone playing in it all day .

This product is exactly what I needed. We have outside faucets and being security minded, slipping these little gems on ensure no one can fill their pool while we are away!

I have a faucet easily accessible to others passing by. Especially with ever changing renters next door. This provides a layer of security that's not full proof but acts as a small deterrent for opportunistic people.

I got this product and very easy to put on and lock my outdoor faucet to keep ppl in the neighborhood from turning on my water.

This brass hose bibb lock works well and feels solidly built. It fits securely on my outdoor faucet and gives peace of mind knowing the water won't be used without permission. The included padlock is decent quality and easy to use. I'm giving it 4 stars only because installation took a bit of adjusting to get the fit just right, but overall it's a reliable product worth buying.

The worse part was trying to buy it online. The site shows said merchandise is in stock and ready for immediate pickup. Took it a week to get here, even after paying in advance. The family needed lockout device immediately, so went to Ace hardware and bought another lockout device. Would have been better if Walmart's online store and store pickup stated that pickup may not be same day, before we had already bought and paid for it.

Great idea but when you will need to really tighten these on the bib to reduce (REDUCE) the leakage. You may never stop the leaks even if you tighten the lock enough to break the Cu or PVC pipe going to the bib. Immediately plan on purchasing your own locks. I ordered two. One had a hesitant lock that was difficult to operate; the other had a lock in which the key did not fit. I probably just received a bad lot. Great idea, though.

if your water is being stolen this will not stop them from turning it on. water will spray out of the bottom. don't buy this. Get the full facet cover.
