Constantine: City of Demons (BD) [Blu-ray]

I really enjoyed this DVD very graphic and enjoyable. Big DC cartoon fan and this one was right up there.

I haven't seen the movie yet, nor am I a film critic, so I can't/won't comment on the content. But there's no reason to think this isn't up to the same high standard one has come to expect from DC's animated films. The Blu-ray shipped quick and arrived in pristine condition. Docking a star for the expired digital copy. As has become the norm for WB releases, the included digital code already passed it's good through date years ago. That shouldn't be the case when purchasing a brand new item.

Let me just get this out of the way, first. This animated movie does have strong occult themes. One can tell just by looking at the cover. The movie is pretty good but not one of the better straight-to-DC Blu-ray releases from WB (Warner Bros.). It looks good on Blu-ray. It has minimalist detail (much like the DC films released) so it will not ""pop-off" your screen.

Received this in less than a week with no problems as far as quality goes. As for the movie itself, this is a great film that, at times, feels unfinished. It was initially a web series that was converted into a feature film. The quality and stories are acceptable, considering there's not much out there starring or co-starring Constantine. If you love the DCU, Constantine: City of Demons is a great addition.

Walmart has a policy movies must say previously used when dealing with movies … this was used - picture was not the correct film case … i got after market used copy .. photo used was original market release.. dvd does not work ! The bluray when examining it … is just a blank disc %26 was clearly printed not by the Warner - I could do a better job !! The photo shown is the DVD with the full disc scratch around the complete circumference!
