Consumer Cellular, Iris Easy Flip, Gray

This is great for what I needed it for the only negative is that it is a little big for a flip phone. Otherwise, it works great!

it was a great phone but had to replace it because it broke in the henges area where it flipped and i never dropped it or abused it in any way but i reached in my shirt pocket and i pulled out 2 pieces so i knew it had to be replaced so i got my replacement the next day from walmart!

My wife didn't want a smart phone because all she requires is the ability to make and receive calls.. This phone does much more than that if needed. We have been Consumer Cellular customers for years, so we trust them. Walmart is our go-to store for all our purchases.

I must have misread the review, or chosen a similar model name. This model cannot call by name. In fact, it has NO voice response capabilities at all. MY BAD!!!

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had numerous dumb phones over many years. This one is the WORST piece of KRAP that was ever made by any company. It is impossible to text with, and the sound is Horrendous! The buttons are VERY hard to press. Volume is terrible. Consumer Cell seems to be an ok cell company, but they are running their company in the ground by using this phone. I do realize that they are trying to discourage customers from using dumb phones, but just stop selling them and be honest with people and say if you use their service you have to have a smart phone. There are still people that don't want a smart phone like me, but this Iris EZ flip is a crime perpetrated on decent people. I have been forced to get an inexpensive smart phone. So, I guess Consumer Cell won. But why couldn't they have said up front that they were not selling dumb phones. I honestly believe they have caused me to have PTSD from trying to text and get texts, which I quit getting last weekend. Many people have gotten upset because I never answered them back. I had to tell them I can't answer if I don't get their texts. Please, if I can save one person from what I have gone through, don't buy this phone!!!! When I get my new smart phone, I am going to take the phone, lay it on the sidewalk and smash it with a big hammer! Don't want it to ever fall into anybody's hands again.

this phone is very complicated to set up and use. its ancient i was shocked at the complexity of settling up the contacts and it kept unchecking the favorites and couldn't call from the favorites. I purchased it for my 85 yr old father and i could work it, and no way he could.

They suck. The phone is advertised locked. So I try putting anyothet service providers SIM in it and because I didn't get Consumer Cellular service I can't get the phones unlock PIN.

delivered in sealed package yet upon opening iris flipphone from consumer cellular hda no battery! thus, it was unuseable.
