These steps are a perfect accompaniment for a high mattress Rice Bed !!! So strong and sturdy!! Great mohagany finish !!! Matches my hardwood floors perfectly !!

I had California Closets come in to redo by master closet -and then realized I could not reach some of the clothing on the top rod-- this came in handy to be able to reach my sweaters that were hanging from a higher rod without having to get my three step ladder. The color matches the wood in my California closet. It served its purpose well!

We had just purchased a new 4 poster bed and mattress and I needed a step stool to get in the bed. After looking all over for a step stool to match I found the Powell mahogany stool on line. I was a little Leary about ordering this on line but did and what a surprise!!! It is beautiful and just what I wanted. Also So easy to assemble I did it myself.

The product is great - real wood - solid BUT it comes in a big box so I assumed it was assembled. Perhaps I missed it but the words assembly required should be in big text somewhere. It's easy to put together - I just assumed. ....you know the rest of that statement hahaha!

It is a little on the big side. So it works well proportioned for a king or queen bed. If you have a twin or full, I would go with something smaller

This is a beautiful, quality piece. However, it is a bit of a challenge to assemble

Nice looking step. It's a little difficult to put together and is a bit pricey though.

Although the step stool was difficult to put together, it is sturdy and beautiful and it gets the job done. I am a senior citizen and I bought a new mattress for my beautiful Victorian bed. I realized immediately that I was unable to get into the now very high bed. I looked for an antique step stool to no avail. I bought this one and I'm thrilled with the beautiful wood and the sturdiness of the step stool.

Took 1 hour to assemble then fell apart like a house of cards when first used. I would give it a negative star! Then took it into Walmart store to return and found out they do not take returns for that supplier.
