The cup is very convenient to use. It has an excellent design and is aesthetically appealing as well:)It’s easy to clean and assemble. The customer care representative at Contigo was very knowledgeable, kind, empathetic and courteous to answer the question on formaldehyde warning mentioned on one of the products and assured it doesn’t contain formaldehyde and that it’s safe for kids. Both the email and phone call were responded to quickly. Thank you so much for this wonderful product and service!:)
These are great little water bottles. I love them and my grandson %26 great niece do too. Fun designs and no leaking! Only brand we use. Easy to clean too.
I can't say enough good things about these cups, they are cute, they don't spill, and are easy to clean. When I first got them, I couldn't figure out how to get the straw part of them apart to clean them, but once I did, they are really easy to clean. I just put them in my dishwasher on top rack. So far the design hasn't chipped , faded, or peeled. They are worth the price in my opinion.
I bought this for my six year old to take to kindergarten every day. I did a lot of research and comparison shopping because it was extremely important to me that her water bottle wouldn’t leak out into her backpack. This water bottle checks off every need on my list, plus my little one adores the cute design. School is now out for the summer, but her water bottle has become her new sidekick and has truly upped her intake at home as well as at school. Parents, THIS IS THE ONE YOU’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!
I don't have them anymore But the Contigo kids straw water bottle with spout lid 14oz was one of my two oldest favorite cups. It was easy to clean the maintenance. It was durable lightweight when it fell. It didn't break if they didn't outgo it they probably will still have them.
I have always liked my contigo water bottle, so I bought a kids one for my toddler. It is spill-proof, and good quality. The only thing I don't really like about it is that it is hard to suck up the water. For some reason, it requires extra strength to suck up the water. So, even though my toddler still uses it, I think it's best for older kids. Other than that, I like it.
This is a great travel cup. I like that you can push the spout in to keep it protected when we are out and about. The handle is great too and makes it easy to carry and hold. It also holds more than enough liquid for a child. However the plastic spout is a little hard to pull off to wash. Also the straw is one piece so while it makes for easy assembling/disassembling it is bulky in the dishwasher and sometimes I wonder if the dishwasher can clean all the nooks and crannies.
We've gone through a good amount of these bottles over the years- exterior design and utility is great for kids. They are very durable and kids love using them. the only reason for replacement is the inside components eventually get moldy, even with liberal cleaning. some parts are difficult to get to for cleaning. Even for the price, we are still happy to replacement them when needed.
Our 2-year old likes to bite on his sippy cups while he's sucking on the mouthpiece, and he was able to completely chew through the thick clear silicone part of the mouth piece in just a few weeks. Small pieces of clear silicone were breaking off from it after that, and he couldn't such properly from it, so I tried to cut off all the silicone (see pic). Just a hard plastic mouth piece for a toddler to suck on would be better than silicone, for toddlers who like to chew/nibble on things.
Our daughter will not use this because it continues to give off a chemical flavor that she describes as being "like the dentist". We have had it for months and really thought it would stop after washing it a million times, but it won't go away. I've tried the water bottle too and she's not exaggerating. We have other Contigo water bottles that do not do this, so we're assuming it's something to do with the seller. Just be careful and be aware when purchasing. At this point, we will give up and throw this one away. Not sure if it's safe to use with the odd chemical flavor.
