By far and away the best of the mug world. It holds its cold the longest and equally holds its heat the longest. With a few excetions -- my observation only -- it's only limited by a handle and larger capacity for fluids. It is STILL a best buy in my books. Try this challege: Put ice in it and cover it w/the lid tight and see how long before the ice fully melts. Then compare the w/a competitor...see? Worth it!

I like everything about these mugs, they keep things cold and hot, they last forever, and the lids stay shut. This is my 4th one. I keep one in upstairs, one downstairs, one in the car. I left one somewhere and needed to replace. They fit the cup holder in my vehicle as well.

Replaced a Contigo coffee cup that was almost the same design, the lid is exactly the same as the one I had. It survived 10 years on construction sites with every day use until falling off a manlift about 75’ in the air, landed on the lid and broke. As long as you shut the lid properly, it will never spill. Takes some effort to open the lid, but to me that’s fine as long as it stays shut, but something to keep in mind for those with arthritis or such. Keeps the coffee hot for hours, at the least past midday after filling it early in the morning. The coffee rarely lasts that long anyway. If I use it for cold drinks, it stays cold for a good amount of time. Make sure to remove and clean the little rubber seal piece on the lid, if not it can grow mold in it. Fits in most cup holders, even the smaller ones. Definitely the best coffee cup I’ve ever had. The replacement has been great, no complaints. It’s an upgraded design over the one I bought years ago.

Nice travel mug. It will easily fit two regular cups of coffee which makes it on the tall side, since it's narrow. Nice gripping texture in the middle. Looks very sleek. Keeps coffee hot for quite some time. The lid takes a little getting used to since the drinking hole is on the opposite side of the release tab (that opens the hole up for drinking.) Because of this, you may need two hands to open it. The plus side is it's leak proof!

I’ve been buying this product probably since it came out. It’s convenient. It keeps your drinks cold and it keeps your hot drinks or even chili or soup whatever you wanna put in there.. I especially love the spill proof lid. Can’t go wrong with a Contigo I highly recommend this product Thank you, Walmart

I bought this for my 30 yr old son for his birthday to replace the one he bought years ago. He will still use his old one as functionally it is good, just a little wore on the outside from years of use. The paint lasts as long as you hand wash the cup, however you can put the lid in the dishwasher. He has had to push the o ring back in occasionally. They keep you beverage hot or cold for 8 hours. It is spill proof if you close the lid when you are done drinking.

I am a longtime fan and customer of Contigo mugs. This mug is sleek, beautiful, and works well keeping my coffee hot as I always expect from Contigo. It annoys me that I can't seem to easily find mugs in pretty colors. I also truly miss the first design with the handle which stopped liquid from escaping even when I did not have the handle locked.... as a traveler on public transportation it was invaluable when it flew 3 feet in the air and fell on the bus floor without a single drop wasted. I could also carelessly toss it into my travel bag without a major mess. Many years later, I am still using this mug and would like a new one to replace it. Although I love my new mug and the snap lid is tight...if it falls the liquid will come out.

I like the design of this travel mug. It’s not too wide or skinny, so it fits well in the hand and is nonslip. It holds a good amount of ounces so you can thoroughly enjoy your morning coffee. It is truly no drip. I intentionally tossed it around the inside of my car and at work trying to get a drop to come out. It did not. The first day I used it, I made tea. So I boiled water and pour it in and put the teabag in. Because other people had said that your drink will go cold within two hours, I expected it to be cold by the time I got to at 4 1/2 hours later. It was still entirely too hot to drink. So I don’t know where those reviews came from, cause they’re full of poop. Either that or they put their coffee in cold so of course it was cold when they went to drink it. Now instead of having tea, I am putting in instant coffee (so using boiling water) and I’m putting in some ice cold milk with it so that by the time I go to drink it it’s a nice temperature. I would definitely recommend washing most of it by hand simply because if you wash it in the dishwasher it’s not going to last as long. But if you don’t care about that part, then I think it’s dishwasher safe. The opening on the lid so that you can drink your coffee is very small. I did not have an issue with that because I sip anyways. I only removed one star because the lever to open the little drinking hole on the lid is very difficult. It did loosen up a little bit over the first week, but you pretty much still need two hands to do it. Luckily for most of my day I don’t have to open and close it I could just leave it open. With that one exception, everything else is five star.

I never received the two thermoses. I spoke with someone and they asked if I wanted a replacement or a refund. I said If like a replacement. This week someone decided I would get a partial refund instead. I would like the mugs replaced, not a partial refund.
