Contigo Spill-Proof Kids Tumbler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Contigo again nailed this kids tumbler! This comes with instructions to clean the straw good & all. It's 100 percent spill proof- (yes it actually is true-we tested on every way), it's 14 Oz., & states 3 & up. Atticus is not 2 yet & seems to have absolutely no trouble using it. Atticus loves it & thinks he is a big boy. Lol I had to include his “ mean face” which he just starting doing. Lol The only thing I noticed is it does have condensation with something cold, that however doesn't concern me at all. It actually the best tumbler we have had thus far. So extremely happy with this!

We really like these cups, but we had the bottom part of the straw fall to the bottom of the dishwasher melt and need a replacement. Without that, we can't use the cup.

I really wish we could buy replacement straws for this. This is the only cup my toddler will drink out of, and the straws have a lot of teeth marks on them and are getting a bit rough. I can't seem to find replacement straws anywhere online for these (only reason for my 4 stars instead of 5).

This brand is awesome. Most of my daughter's cups have been Contigo cups because they're reliable. They're spill proof and the design is great. They have grippy material on edges that make it harder to slide off the table but not impossible. It's a good weight for a toddler and the assembly is straightforward. There's a few pieces to clean and maintain it without mold growing but it's worth it to have a reliable cup construction that isn't going to make a huge mess.

The cup is absolutely great... it has lasted through two children (just now getting rid of them, and the youngest is 11). BUT, we desperately needed replacement straws for the youngest child (he actually stopped using them a couple of years ago) because he chewed on them. Come on, contigo......let's get into the 21st century.

I love that my little can be a big girl and during from a cup with a straw and not have to worry about spills. But I noticed mold under the valve and pulled it out to clean and now I cant get it back in. I'm afraid the cup is basically useless now as it's no longer a pill proof!

The bottom of the cup on the outside where the rubber peice is at the bottom has mold growing under it! You can't take it off to even clean it. The lid has mold growing where the vent is, not sure how to take it off. Really disappointed with the fact a child's cup is growing mold.

Would not recommend. I've bought one for my son and one for my daughter thought they were amazing at first. I've been careful to follow all cleaning instructions. Yet there is mold growing in the lids. No way to get in there to clean it either. Photos are even after I tried everything to clean the mold off. Even bought those straw brushes nothing worked. The blue is obviously harder to see which freaks me out more.

Love these cups that really don't leak but they tend to get moldy in the straw and under the o-ring in the lid. I can take the ring out and scrub it but in the straw, after twisting it apart, mold collects in a tiny rim and I can't get it clean for the life of me! What am I doing wrong??? Does the little grey piece not come out so I can clean around it?!

These were my go to cups for my toddler that was until I discovered that the straw just houses mold! Let's rewind, I wash my cups every night so it's not like they are festering for days. I also use a straw cleaner and vigorously clean the inside of the straws. This came as a huge shock to me and was so disgusted. I think the straw needs a re-design without the silicone little suction inside of it. Because that's where the mold is. It's underneath that little silicone part that is not removable. Huge bummer and wish I would've seen a post like this prior to purchasing because I had so many of these cups. Such a waste.
