I've had the pillow for roughly a month, so far it hasn't lost its shape, still plush. It is microfiber so don't get concerned by the images. Smells ok so no need to wash first and I'm sensitive/allergic to a lot of things but you can to be safe. It is the correct size. You can throw on whatever case you wish or leave it plain, your choice. I chose faux rabbit fur zip up cases.

I like this pillow. I tossed it on the couch and used it to lie down and watch TV, then fell asleep. The pillow squished very low, which is good for me because I sleep on my stomach. If you're looking for a much firmer throw pillow, this isn't for you. The stitching and overall quality seems to be very good.

This pillow is big and soft. However, it makes a little bit of a plastic like sound when I rub my hand over it. I like that it's machine washable and fluffy.

I used a 18x18 inside a 20x20 case so it wasn't over stuffed. I wanted to have a soft comfortable throw pillow for a bench on front porch. This insert is a soft Egyptian cotton with a down and feather blend. Soft and squishy but doesn't go flat like pure down pillows do. No poking from feathers. No bad scent from feathers. Comfortable and soft!
