Because I did not want this item to end up with lower than top score, I had to click top star in the category of softness which was poorly entered by whomever deicdes how to write these categories. Most reasons why mattress toppers are bought is to add more firmness to a suspected sagging mattress which happens even when buying an extra firm or super firm mattress. This topper, as I also did not want to spend alot of money, has sufficient firmness to prevent my body from feeling the middle of the mattress dipping instead of staying evenly firm. I sleep better on very hard feeling mattresses. But this time, not willing to pay more for a new mattress just now, which is why I bought this 3 inch thick topper. The question should not have been for how soft, but for how firm. For now, since i just got it today, it feels firm and adding the extra layer my back needs. How long it will keeps the firm density I want and need is unknown to predict in this survey. However, it arrived promptly. However, since it did not arrive in its originbal manufacturer's box, there should have had a piece of paper slipped onto the item reassuring a customer that it may arrived thinner, but soon expands to the advertised depth. It arrived at 2" thickness and as soon as the final wrapper was removed, it rose to a full 3" depth which is what I needed. Advice to share: I bought a larger bed sheet ensemble than my actual bed size to accommodate the added thickness of the topper on my mattress.
I had a split king and I didn't like that there was that open area between the two mattresses and so I bought this and put it on my bed and it's the best thing I bought all year
good for the price.
Comfortable
Very good. Like it and comfy.
Not convoluted, as was in the original description! Waiting to see if it expands to 1 inch :(
Smashed flat. I thought ok some puff up out of the package. Nope, still flat as a pancake. Nothing like the photo honestly. The photo gives the illusion it is puffed up with the ridges higher up. Sadly no that is not what you get. Also FedEx was awful, but Walmart made it right. Overall, I'm disappointed.
The photo seems to create the illusion that the egg crate parts of this foam are higher than they actually are. They are almost flat, just above a ripple. If you are looking for a deeper egg crate texture, this is not the one to pick. Otherwise the foam is nice.
the only accurate part of this description is that it is white and it is foam. it is not one inch (the top of the tallest peak MAY hit an inch, if you stretch it). it is not an egg crate foam. it is not king size (4" overhang on all sides). and it is not comfortable...well, maybe it is as comfortable as arts and craft foam...because thats all it is! save your money on this one!!
I ordered two one has been delivered and just waiting for the other so that I can take both back for a return. Thin as can be with a hefty price that doesn't matter the quality. I ordered 3"topper for my bed from as well and trust me it was worth every cent. This one is something you would wrap around your TV when moving.
