Easy to program. Buttons are a bit hard to press, but not necessarily a bad thing. No accidental pressing of a wrong button. I bought for my elderly parent who kept pushing the wrong buttons on the previous remote. Keep your old remote in case you need to get to TV menu or settings. This one is only good for On/off, Volume, and Channel changing.

This took about 5 seconds for me to set up for my mother. I was so surprised how fast I did it watching a video on like. My mom has been using this for 5 days and loves it. No more calls to a family member to change the source button back to the correct input! This should be purchased for anyone that hits the wrong button on a complicated tv controller! Worth every penny!!

Because this remote does exactly what it says it does, I gave it 5 stars. However, it is not useful for a modern tv with satellite service. While it easily turned our tv on, it would not turn on the satellite box. Also, because it has no number buttons, you have to manually press the channel up button many, many times to reach the large numbered satellite channels.

We got this remote for an older person that has memory (and medical issues). compared to all the remotes that have all the buttons and options, this was great and very easy for him to use. A lot less confusion since there are minimal options. It does seem like this is a great tool for people who just want simple. I would highly recommend!

So easy! This actually worked "as is" with no programing at least for the TV I set this up for. This is being used for a senior just admitted to a assisted living with short term memory issues. What a great product!

This is great for my elderly father. It's simple and the buttons light up. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the buttons have to be pushed with a little bit of force. I guess I'm just used to things where you push the button effortlessly. But otherwise, this remote is perfect for simple power on/off, mute, channel, volume control.

it did not work with my sanyo tv.

Was hoping this could be a solution for my 95 year old mother that is confused by all the buttons on a roku remote not to mention that she cannot see the small buttons that do not light up ...this looked like it might be a solution bit it would not connect to a Roku TV. it should be stated in the ordering description what TV types it does not work on.
