[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got a cooling station for my PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, and I have to say, it's a pretty cool accessory overall! I love how it keeps my console nice and cool during long gaming sessions—definitely a plus for maintaining performance. The design is sleek, and it adds a nice touch to my setup with its LED lights and compact build. It also has a handy charging dock for my controllers, which is super convenient.
However, I'm a bit confused about one feature: the cooling station comes with a disc holder, which doesn't make much sense for the Digital Edition since this version doesn't use discs at all. It feels like an unnecessary addition for this model, and I wish they'd designed it with digital users in mind by maybe adding more storage for accessories instead. On the flip side, I tried using this cooling station with a friend's standard PS5 (the disc version), and it didn't fit properly—there was some wobbling, and it didn't feel secure at all. It seems like this station isn't perfectly compatible with the standard PS5, which is a bit disappointing.
Overall, it's a nice accessory for the PS5 Digital Edition if you're looking for cooling and charging features, but the disc holder feels out of place, and it's not a great fit for the standard PS5. I'd give it a 3.5/5—great concept, but the design could use some tweaking for better compatibility across versions.
