Fit great and look good

HilaryB May 10, 2026

After wearing only Adidas for years, my 16 year old son wanted a pair of Converse. I wasn't sure if he'd like them (they do fit differently than running shoes), but he loves them! He said they fit perfectly straight out of the box and that they're super comfortable.

As unique as you are

SelenaP May 17, 2026

My teenage daughter is obsessed with Chuck's and so is slowly amassing a full collection of the different colors. She personalizes them by writing her favorite bands song lyrics on the toe box and edges. It's unique and as GenX parents we're all about it!

Classic and comfortable

LaureliT August 10, 2026

My favorite pair of shoes. I've bought the same exact pair every year for five years and I will continue to do so. Always comfortable, break in quickly, match with everything, good for work and school. They last a while too, especially for the price.

Squeaking with every step

NikitaA May 31, 2026

I've been a diehard converse wearer for literally half my life at this point. But my last two pairs of these shoes, after less than a year of regular use, have become so squeaky with every step that even people I'm walking with can hear them. This never happened before. I'm not sure what the company did to these shoes, but I'm mourning the good quality I used to have before. It is so infuriating hearing squeaking with every step, especially if I'm in a quiet place like work. I'm going to need to find new regular sneakers.

I ordered 7s and got 9s

Anonymous April 16, 2024

I sent these to my neice for her birthday. I ordered 7s and size 9 arrived. I called 1-800-walmart and the guy said normally he would just replace them but he could not bc their computer wasn't offereing him that feature currently and he couldn't process my order for another 48 hours. It would be best if I called back in THREE DAYS. Really!?!

Not what they used to be, thanks Nike.

ChadB April 12, 2026

I have older pairs sitting right next to the new ones and the difference is pretty stark. Since Nike bought Converse the quality has been sliding and this is the worst it’s been. I wanted to like these. I’ve been buying Chuck Taylors for years. They padded the canvas on the Chuck Taylor All Star. I get why that sounds like a good thing but it’s not. Chucks were always flat and firm and that’s what made them break in naturally over time. These feel cheap and off right out of the box. Nike quietly stopped advertising 12 oz canvas and it shows in your hands the second you pick them up. The vulcanized rubber sole is the bigger problem. Less rubber, shallower tread pattern. My older Chuck Taylors have a deeper grip pattern and way more traction. These look almost half worn before you even lace them up for the first time. That rubber is not going to last, and there’s no fixing it. Nike is cutting corners on an iconic shoe and loyal customers notice. Not what they used to be.
