True Classics!

PeterM February 22, 2026

These black low-top Converse All Stars are a classic for a reason. Clean, simple, and they go with literally everything. Super comfortable right out of the box and easy to dress up or down. Whether I'm running around all day or just throwing them on for a casual fit, they never miss. Timeless style that never goes out of fashion.

Love!

Lisa S May 29, 2017

I have been looking for the right pair of Converse and these are it! I love the slip on style and they don't make my feet look as big as the traditional style did. I recommend going a 1/2 size smaller for a better fit (I am a Size 7 but purchased the 6-1/2}. They obviously don't have the cushy comfort of Sketchers however I am sure with a little more breaking in they will be perfect! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Very happy

GinaM May 17, 2026

So happy to own another pair of Converse. They're very comfortable for my flat, narrow feet. No chafing my ankles or pinching my toes. I'm between sizes and went with a 6 so I'd have room for my inserts and I think I made the right decision. Love my new Converse!

Been wearing Chucks since the 1960s.

JoanneN March 29, 2026

Been wearing Chucks since the 1960s. Own 7-8 colors in low and high tops. Sizing has changed since the early-mid 2000s when I last bought a few pairs. The new, half sizes are not as accurate as expected so I needed to return and exchange for a full size larger. Other than that,.. same ol' Chucks, which is a good thing!

Classic Leather Low Top Limited Colors

DV August 13, 2025

I love my leather low top chucks (white/white/black) and (taupe/white/black). The taupe is actually lighter in color than what it looks like on the website. They always hold up well, are soft and are comfortable. They fit like a glove every time. I love that Converse is periodically adding limited colors in leather to their normal leather line. Great move! It gives the customer the ability to buy different colors at a great price vs having to go into the custom shop. Keep adding more colors this way. I'd love to see a red, green and blue leather low top chuck available.

ORIGINAL ALL-STAR had no cushion

MarcellaM August 10, 2025

I don't like that they aren't the interior style they were before. The original style of converse were the absolute best. I've been wearing Converse since I was 15 size 5.5, is perfect fit for me. Ever since they got all different styles shapes of converse They got cushion inside,I can't with it. and I purchased 3 pairs the same 5.5 size they didn't fit they cut me to so now I'm stuck with all my old pairs wearing them till they fall apart, not good. They say original but they have cushion inside and slightly bigger than before

Buyer beware

ChadB February 13, 2026

I've worn Converse for decades, but this latest pair is a massive disappointment. The decline in quality is undeniable. Compared to my older pairs, this new set feels completely "less"—lighter, flimsier, and lacking the rugged durability I expect. The most glaring issue is the rubber. The construction feels hollowed out. The sidewalls are thinner, and the toe cap feels pliable rather than protective. Worse yet is the tread depth. Right out of the box, the traction pattern is noticeably shallower and less thick than even my worn-in pairs. It's clear they are using significantly less rubber to cut costs, which means these soles will wear smooth in record time. It feels like shrinkflation: paying full price for a product that has been stripped of its substance. If you're looking for the classic, heavy-duty Chucks of the past, these aren't them. Buyer beware—you are getting a lot less shoe for your money.

Nope

LaurenB February 15, 2026

These were my go to shoe for over 30 years; walking at Disney for hours, no problem, in the snow, sure. But converse changed them and they're just terrible. I dont know why they thought a man-made material was better than the classic canvas, but its not. The fit is off and they don't breathe like they used to. Sadly, these are going back and I'm on the hunt for a new everyday shoe.

The classic is dead. An era has ended.

JonN August 17, 2025

Classic all stars are excellent. Worn dozens for 49 years. Bought 2 new pair yesterday and they have been updated, and not in a good way. The interior is no longer cotton, but some poly mesh, and the insole if a thin removable wafer that does not give any support. The laces are shorter and the sergerd edges are done in a poly thread instead of cotton. These do not breathe. The weight and feel is gone. The classic All-Stars, Chuck Taylors, and others are not what they have always been. The quality has been sacrificed for cost savings in production. 40 years and likely over 100 pairs, I have worn and worn out. And I returned them today. Do not buy them.
