Took me dozens of tries to get arms attached . I really needed a clone of myself despite being mechanically inclined. I had trouble getting the buckles lined up with the seat. I had to lean the seat against the entertainment center and balance the sides against seat. Make sure you leave the backrest flat when you do that part. The instructions are really basic and not very detailed. However, I am 69 years old and if I can put this chair together, so can you.
I was impressed with the quality of the chair. The only “spare parts “ are the 4 legs that get screwed into the bottom of the seat. You don't need any tools.
The chair is bigger than I expected, and the seat is standard height. The box weighs 108 pounds, so I did struggle with trying to get it from the garage to the living room.
I wanted a sturdy, firm chair that I could stretch out on to watch TV and maybe fall asleep on. That's exactly what I got. It was a much longer assembly than I expected, but I kind of love this chair now that it's complete.
