I bought this for my 4yr old nephew. He needed more practice with numbers, colors and shapes. This would be his first game for the Wii and he loved it! He caught on real quick and enjoyed following along with the game! I would highly recommend this game for any child in the preschool age range!
Had bought this for a 3 year old who loves watching others play video games. It is easy enough for younger children to start learning how to play video games with little assistance. Fun to watch them learn motor control; loves jumping around to video game play.
I have grandson's ages 4 & 5. This is a perfect learning tool for them both. They enjoy cookie monster and counting with him is fun for them.
My nephew who is 5 loves to play this. He is 5 and his mom was worried he isn't learning his numbers and letters as quickly as the other kids in his class. So i purchased this one and the elmo alphabet. He loves them.
This is a game that my 4 year old can work all by himself. I can leave the room and he has no problems. The only issue I have is that maybe it's too easy. I think he'll get bored with the content pretty quick.
We bought this game for our daughter for her 5th birthday She loves this game it is great not only does it do counting but it does shape matching, patterns, color matching, more than and less than which is really good. It is very colorful and even our one year old likes to watch her play. It is very easy for her to play unlike other games. this game is very friendly for young users. She can play it all by her self with no help
bought this for my son he really is not into it but his cousin who is the same age both are three years old, she loves counting and cookie monster the games are great learning game for young children
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 20 month old grandson. Although he's not quite ready to play it by himself, he's very intent watching Cookie, Grover, Big Bird and the other familiar Sesame Street characters on the screen. He enjoys sitting in my lap as I talk through some of games, telling him what we're doing. He loves numbers, so this is a fun way to teach him how to count them. He'll be playing it by himself in no time! I like that it is geared to keep them moving too, not just sitting and staring at the TV. I like the remote cover that comes with the game, but the openings don't seem to align with the buttons he needs to push, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars.
I bought this for my daughter who's almost 4. She loves Sesame Street, but this game was too simple for her. She wasn't learning anything she doesn't already know. The game control is annoyingly slow. It stops to explain the rules between each step again and again. The game came with a cute little cookie monster cover for the Wii remote, but we didn't use it because it made the pointer not work as well.
