my bro likes it but I'm not loving it.
5 qt annodized 12" x 3.4" height wok, 6.8" bottom heat plate, 6.5" cooking area. It has glass lids to check progress and stays put which is important. Non stick coating is great. cleaning is ez, since nothing sticks. It scratches if u stirfry bone in cuts: roast pork with gai lan, or frogs. It heats quickly n has great heat for stirfrying which needs high heat. However, it has a tiny cooking area of only 6.5", may be fit 3 eggs? This tiny area is probably ok if you have gas, cuz the flame reaches the slanted side. It's just unfortunate for electric stove that the sides is barely hot.
When I bought it, i had a 7" burner coil and now i have electric glass cook top (LG range LDEL 7324SE) with 6" ,9 or 11" burner, but no 7" nor 8". I blasted on 9" but the range manual dont recomment it because too much heating exposed and i could get burned . I probably would buy this brand again if they make bottom cooking area bigger : 9" because the height and slanted size is great for deep frying and saute/stirfrying. I like this tapered bottom shape since the bottom is smaller, it needs less oil to be half full to deep fry. so 12"-14" top but 9" bottom/cooking area wok would be greatly appreciated.
