I, many years ago, spent hundreds on CUTCO Knives. They were really good. However, for much, much less money, this set of 5 knives is perhaps 90% of the CUTCO knives in quality and sharpness for a fraction of the cost. Sure, if money is no object, you can go very top end. But this set does the job very nicely and you can feel the solid quality.

Great knife combo, super sharp right out of the box. I like that it has extra slots to make your own collection. I added a scissors and cleaver and have a few slots open for future knives.

This knife set is of premium quality. The sharpness of the blades makes food preparation very easy. I imagine these will last quite a long time.

Beautiful knife set. I love it. Works great.

Quality knives and block, but they are smaller than I had thought. The chopping knives are regular size and have a great feel. The bread/serrated knife is smaller on length, and the steak knives seem a bit smaller than regular. They have a nice weight and quality handles. I feel they are a good deal for the money, nice starter set, with two empty slots in the block for other knives you already own. I bought two as gifts, and they loved them.
